Friends i have lots of confusion that why only in CA Exam there is no reservation for SC/ST/OBC where else other exams have.
Dear Friend, CA is one of the premium and toughest job in the field of accountancy and the person who is awarded with the degree must have the caliber of holding it and thus there s no place for any of the concession given to any student in the form of reservations . The other main reason that follows this policy is that the value of the degree has to be maintained by ICAI which will be hampered if such reservations are done
A nation's overall development is based on its economy and the base of Indian economy are the CA(s) of here and I hope you know that solid, strong and stable base is necessary for the firmness of anything and ICAI which transforms a common student through its examinations in to a CA which further improves and develops nation's economy. And, for being a CA students with firm dedication are needed and not the SC, ST, OBC idiots who beg for reservation for being something; the ICAI says be with us only if you have ability to become a CA otherwise other career options are opened for you. In other examinations for the wise students of general category the merit cut off is above 100 whereas for the idiot students of reserved (SC,ST,OBC) categories the merit cut off is below 50 which within itself proves that the reserved ones are not capable to score more than this and it is known to all, that's why the merit cut off for the reserved idiots remains lower. ICAI always searches for determination to transform in to perfection and they doesn't select those who have not ability to meet their expectations and thus it doesn't support reservation, as because ICAI does not want to get Indian economy demolished by the foolishness of reserved ones as little knowledge is dangerous and reserved ones always have little and that's why the merit for them is lower in all examinations other than CA. I hope now you have got answer for your question...
Hello, CA is the only institute that makes no difference between any students. IT treat everyone equally. CA are the person who are talented and capable and not the one who has crack on the basis of reservations. It has maintain the its reputation by such deed. We all know the responsibilty of the CA towards the nation and asking reservation in this is not justifiable. Institute has also consider reservation by the way of giving them some prize money on regular interval . For this you can refer the institute website for this .
ICAI is a professional making body. It only brings out the most talented learners. so it may never consider for quota. n well thats good also so that without ant discrimination all are given equal opportunity
Hi, The board of ICAI does not give any reservation for SC/ST/OBC because it treats every one as equal but the icai provides scholarships for merit students and also those who are poor and needy, hope this helps you Thank You
CA as a course doesnt restrict the entry of any person in the curriculum so any person who wants to become a CA gets an entry into the course but only the once who clear all the exams get the membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Hie Kruthika, Its a best thing about ICAI which conducts CA exam that it does not have any reservation. CA is a professional exam and ICAI gives this opportunity to everybody equally. Hardwork is important for CA exam and not caste, that is why, for the good professional ethics of CA exam, ICAI does not have any reservation for SC/ST/OBC like any other exams.
Hi, Kruthika, CA is considered to the toughest course and the reason behind is only that if ur knowledge is upto the standard then only u clear the exam. In case of other degrees, one can manage to get the degree failing n number of times but in CA people leave the course when they find their potential is not upto the mark. This is the reason there is no space for any discrimination in CA course where only matters is ur hard work. The exams like IAS, IPS which provides reservation are held by govt which promotes participation of SC/ST/OBC and thus u see general public are not rewarded despite being better than reserved class.
See .. Pursuing Charted Accountancy is all about giving exam and clearing them to qualify as Charted Accountant .. There is no question arise of quota coz one have to clear the exam .. Reservation system applies where people compete for govt jobs or want admission in colleges/universities/institutions which are having limited seats .. From your question i presume that you're unhappy with the fact that CA profession is still intact from such system .. But you'll be happy to know that after qualifying as a CA if you wanna go for a govt job .. There is a quota for SC/ST/OBC .. So even if you're more qualified, eligible and more suitable for job .. than too SC/ST/OBC will be given a prefrence over you !!
Dear Kruthika, Its a good point there is no reservation so that the value of ca is enhanced because talented person always win without difference of race. and the second point if reservation is there than the value of ca goes down. there is no reservation because icai setup by an special statute passes by the house of india. and i am also suggest to the indian goverment reservation should be withdraw from other educational institute also so that all become equal in the country.
