It takes 3 Years to complete CA articleship So,why is the articleship of CA students of such long duration?
This has been kept for 3yrs after reducing from 3.5yrs. but i have known that long ago it was only 1.5yrs. that was nice, But more u work more u learn so this period has been set. Apart from this important thing to know is that work doesnt come al together in a day u may be doing only taxation work. Other day audit other day finance etc, and there is audit season, Taxation season, Tax audit Season. 3yr is a good time to learn all variety of works.
Hi Gunesh.. CA Articleship is for 3 years and its a very long period but equally this is a most precious time for every CA article. Practical knowledge is very much important with theoriatical knowledge. First year of internship goes in getting basic knowledge of working in various fields like taxation, auditing, accounts etc. In second year, you can handle various works and in third you get a full knowledge of working. Therefore, though its a long time but it's a most precious and valuble time for learning.
hello practical exposure is more important than theoretical knowledge..during the period of training, a student is exposed to various external factors which helps him in shaping his personality which is very important in his professional career..and moreover working under the name of big firms gives one an opportunity to meet influential clients & there is also an advantage of job security... training is important to acquire hand-on-skills,reporting,experience in various areas like auditing ,taxation, accounting,,etc of course the period of training is quite long in duration, but its very useful for a student to gain adequate experience and skills which are essential during his own practice or employment.. some students are under the wrong impression that training is waste of time! not at all !!..not undergoing training by creating fake certificates may effect his career in the long run..there are many cases where qualified students are working under juniors ,due to lack of practical training..!! so select a good firm where u are exposed to various areas of work rather than doing routine work throughout the training period.. all the best..
