Reference books for CA Intermediate | CA IPCC --------------------------- For **Accounts, Cost and Financial Managemen**t, I studied from CA Institute's book as well as notes which I wrote when I attended tuitions (which I bunked mostly). So official ICAI's material came to my rescue. For **Taxation**, I followed Girish Ahuja's book published by Bharat Publishers. It's a really good book, and it explores the intricacies of taxation while staying in the ambit of the syllabus. For **Law, Audit and IT-SM**, I followed ICAI's material. People ask to study from books written by Surbhi Bansal or Munish Bhandari or Dinesh Madan. Respect to them, but I find the language, specially the handbooks to be of not of standard required by ICAI at professional level. They are at most, good for revision. So, knowledge is important, but you need writing skills to transmit them from brain to paper. And all above that, Revision Test Papers, Suggested Answers of previous terms and Practice Manual is more than enough. Just read them everyday and you will find no problems whatsoever at least in CA Intermediate | CA IPCC level.
