How shall i prepare for theory papers so that exemption is possible?
Hey in order to score good marks in theory paper like law and audit.you must understand law very well in order to get good marks.and second is how you represent your answer in exam which is also very important.so first prepare very well then represent your answer in a professional manner.
Theory is part of memory plus understanding. Once u understand it is easy to remember. Once u done with this u need to remember for long term. That is u need to create long term memory. So for this i will tell u by which I able to clear my CA Intermediate | CA IPCC Exam. Read one paragraph, close ur eyes try what u remember(visualise)then open ur eyes see which points u couldn't recall...go like this it will help u alot. Next day again go back. Only continues study is not important bt going back and observing urself will always give u more good result.
Hai Eshaan. Based on my own experience, I can suggest you in a better manner which is nothing but how I scored exemptions in both auditing and law papers of CA Intermediate | CA IPCC. Firstly choose only single book for each subject and stick to that book untill you finish your exams. Step 1: Give a novel reading to the whole book without missing a single topic. After completing your first reading (novel reading) , you came to know about all topics covered in the syllabus. Step 2: Time for 2nd reading. You should start 2nd reading without taking much break from 1st (novel) reading. In 2nd reading, you have to study lesson by lesson in an better understanding manner. You have to understand the topics. (no need to by heart the topics in 2nd reading). Step 3: Now,time for 3rd reading. You have to come from the first chapter. Go through each and every question in the book. Because of your earlier two readings, you will find very easy to by heart the answers because the previous two readings helps you in understanding the subject. At the end of the 3rd reading you will be very confident with the subject. Once go through the suggested answers to know the better presentation in the exams. Finally one formula to score an exemption. I.e; Read 100% of the syllabus > Attempt for 100 marks > You will definitely end up with 60+ marks. All the best
Hello In my opinion, first of all you should go through the study material provided by the institutions. About half the paper is from study material itself. Then after you should refer to scanners and practice questions. You should also practice previous year question papers. Best of luck
**TIPS FOR PREPARING THEORY PAPER SO THAT EXEMPTION IS AVAILABLE IS HERE UNDER :** 1. Next comes the idea of alternative by it mean after devoting 2 hours in theory paper study practical paper of your choice , this way the boredom of long hours of theory paper gets lessen and it does reduce stress level. 3. Make planning in such a way that all coaching should be completed before two months of your exam . Last two months should be of for revision purpose only . Hie Eshaan, For exemption in theory paper, just prepare well and clear your basic concepts from Study material which you refer. Also make notes in short precise summary so before exam you can refer that for your revision purpose. Also, study well from Practice Manual & RTP and later go for Mock Test Papers and solve them. In theory paper, writing pattern of answers in exam is much more important so in exam, you should precisely write answers. With that, exemption is possible. Study Well..
As i have already commented that U have neither mentioned it nor tagged it to some examination which would have helped us to guide u better. Still as generally here questions are for CA course so i m suggesting u in that context.. See first of all especially in theory papers Practice Manual helps alot. because therein U get the theories in questions answer form which actually helps a student to know that what the institute is expecting students to write in a particular type of question, There are many questions which may have a thin line difference but when u go through its answers tat may have huge difference which plays a very important impact. Any how ur answers are verified from Suggested answers issued by the institute which are framed with the help of practice manual. So prepare thoroughly from practice manual and Scanners. Apart from this U may also refer to books of various authors for various subjects which are easily available at CAKART.IN. U can use my ambassdor code "CAKARTAMB1671654" to avail additional discount
Hi Eshaan, Answer to your question that How u should prepare for theory papers so that exemption is possible is hidden in your question itself. Several books are available in the markets for different subjects. You would also get numerous videos on you tubes and else where. Based on my past experience, I am of the opinion that for any theory paper, reference books available in Q&ans format are relayy very good. First, Study from reference book which is in Q & ans format. Q&A format books gives you the idea of the expected types of questions and the probable answers with reference to the sections/guidance available etc. you can refer books available from Paduka on Accounts/FR and audit, Munish Bhandari for Law, Dinesh Madan for ISCA etc for instance. Second, solve practical questions for professional ethics, accounting and auditing standards etc. Third watch and study accounting standards from videos - Watch sample videos first, then only opt for the best one. Praveen Sir's for FR, Ravi Taori Sir's videos on auditng standards or better known as SAs. My personal choice based on my personal experience would be Paduka on Accounts/FR and audit, Munish Bhandari for Law. You can buy the books/videos from cakart also, use my reference code CAKARTAMB1671700 at the time of payment and get 6% discount . Share my code to your friends too. Hi Eshaan!! Its just the approach due to which a student feels the theory paper to be tough. While you Start preparation **remove** the thought that "Theory papers are boring".. While you sit to study you need to do 3 reading- Gross Reading(1), Net Reading, Gross Reading (2). While Gross Reading(1), just go through the concepts so that you can get an idea of the matter that you are studying. This will give you the knowledge of the material. Next is Net Reading, here you have to understand the Word-to-word, Line-to-line meaning of what the topic wants to say. This ensures a thorough reading of the material. Lastly is again a Gross Reading(2), Under this is the revision of the material. Then when you have finished all of this, take a white sheet of paper and prepare notes what you have studied and preserve those notes. Refer to those notes once or twice a week. This will give you a thorough knowledge of of material and you will be able to perform well in your theory paper.. All the best!!!
