You can do ca and cs simeltanoeously but you have to  prepare yourself such way that you have to study 12 hours a day and make time table for both the courses. here time management and dedication is more important nothing is impossible if you have interest to do. you get some beifit like you get certain exemption for the tax and cost  if you pass in one course.for study material you will get cs material at www.icsi.in and ca material www.icai.org along with these there mwny website they provde materials and notes which can downloaded.

if u want to do cs executive on your own then try to do regular study of 3,4 hour for cs executive and simultaneously for ca final. if u want to crack cs executive exams then go for notes which are available on internet. Dear Abha, Its a nice step taken by you. However, i would suggest not to sail in two boats at one time. Articleship being a crucial part of the CA Career, I suggest you to give your best in it. as it will be very much helpful in CA Final as well. Concentrate on CA Final and achieve the best in it. CS can be done after CA. However if you have got ample of time for preparation, and still want to proceed with CS. I suggest you to go for self study except for ECL and Capital Markets, as the syllabus is similar to that of CA Intermediate | CA IPCC. For ECL along with classes dont forget to go through the scanners. remaining subjects you undoubtedly follow the CA Intermediate | CA IPCC books. And also get thorough with the Tax, Costing and Law as it will be helpful to you in your CA Final. For ECL, company law, Capital Markets and Industrial Laws you can also buy Sangeet Kedia book. You having cleared your CA Intermediate | CA IPCC, one month self preparation is enough for CS with 8-10 hrs of daily study. Regards, Jinesh

Industrial, Labour and General Laws-OMR the above highlighted papers are those which you will find in CA also. Paper wise Explanation ----------------------- ***Paper-1.Company law*** Though company law has been changed as companies act 2013, has been introduced, you will not face any dificulty in reading as there are same topics as in CA-IPCC but only the provisions has been changed.So regarding this paper you follow Study material and solved scanner . **Paper-2.Cost & Management Acc.-OMR** Regarding this paper as it is OMR based it will be very easy for you as you have completed CA-IPCC. According to me it will be more than enough if you follow only your CA-IPCC books as it takes less time to revise so that you can use your time for new subjects and if you are interested you can follow study material also its up to you. Industrial, Labour and General Laws-OMR** This is also a new paper and you can follow study material or any author book for this and it is compulsory to practice OMR based question after preparing each topic. So at last but not least i would like to say that if you are wishing to gain rank then you should cover each every topic of study materials and revision should be made for atleast 2 times, or if you are wishing only to pass in exam in short term then solved scanners are best. Dear Abha You should concentrate on your CA finals preparation and for CS executive you should follow study material of the institute. You should go through the syllabus once thoroughly and then start preparng for CS. For CS institute material is best and as you are preparing for CA also you will be getting help in CS, as the papers and syllabus at CS executive level are almost studied in CA. I also took registration at CS when i was at CA finals, so its my personal experience that for CS start studying institute material. Do solve the test papers given in study material and solve scanners also, you will be able to crack CS executive in one attempt. Best of Luck!

For costing , tax laws and industrial labour and general laws(Omr based exams) you can refer to Suchita Prakasan's solved scanners. They contain plenty of questions from every chapter in omr type and also have 2-3 mock test papers in the end. For Compay law , Economic and commercial law , company accounts and audit and capital market and securities (theory based exams) you can refer to Sangeet Kedia's books. His books are to the point and in simple language. You can also get notes on these subjects on cakart.in Hope this helps

Hi Abha, For CS executive in the new syllabus there are 3 OMR based papers i.e, Costing, Tax and Industrial, Labour & General Laws. As you already cleared CA Intermediate | CA IPCC the first to shall be very easy for you. Also apart from these there are 4 theory papers i.e., Company Law, Economic & Commercial Laws, Capital Markets and Securities Laws and company accounts and auditing. Of these you have the basic knowledge in 3 papers other than Economic & commercial laws. For preparing those subjects which are new you can follow solved scanners by Suchita Prakasan (P) Ltd which are available on CA Kart. Those papers which are already in IPCC you can follow the material which you have already followed to crack the IPCC exams and the left over topics you can refer from the ICSI study material. Use the cs executive module as only guidance. Dont go for study the whole study module as its too lenghty and too time consuming. And dont worry about cs executive exams as you have cleared CA Intermediate | CA IPCC so it will not be tough for you.
