-Stamping (also known as pressing) is the process of placing flat sheet metal in either blank or coil form into a stamping press where a tool and die surface forms the metal into a net shape. Stamping includes a variety of sheet-metal forming manufacturing processes, such as punching using a machine press or stamping press, blanking, embossing, bending, flanging, and coining.
-This could be a single stage operation where every stroke of the press produces the desired form on the sheet metal part, or could occur through a series of stages. The process is usually carried out on sheet metal, but can also be used on other materials, such as polystyrene.

**Ironing -** the material is squeezed and reduced in thickness along a vertical wall. Used for beverage cans and ammunition cartridge cases.
**Reducing/Necking -** used to gradually reduce the diameter of the open end of a vessel or tube.
**Curling -** deforming material into a tubular profile. Door hinges are a common example.
**Hemming -** folding an edge over onto itself to add thickness. The edges of automobile doors are usually hemmed.[5]
Piercing and cutting can also be performed in stamping presses. Progressive stamping is a combination of the above methods done with a set of dies in a row through which a strip of the material passes one step at a time.
**METHODS OF STAMPING**
Following are methods of stamping according to stamp act
1- adhesive stamps
Wheb adhesive stamp is used they should be cancelled in an effective manner so that they cannot be reused
2-impressed stamps
These stamps are impressed on a sheet of paper where other conditions of agreement are mentioned.

**Methods of Stamping are as follows :-**
- Squeeze
A processing method in which a metal plate is processed into a product by applying pressure.
- Pinch
As the name suggests, a processing method in which a part is pulled out from a metal plate which then becomes a product.
- Bend
A processing method in which a metal is bent. There are various methods of bending such as a sharp bend, a round bend, etc.
- Crush
Crushing generally means a forging process.
In the case of simple forging processing, when the pressure is applied, the excess metal will continue to escape to the outside.
However, the integrated molding technology of our company is an exclusive process in which molding is accomplished without the metal chunks escaping to the outside.
The integrated molding enables the effective use of the material and it also enables stereoscopic processing.
