Before the start of your articleship you are required to complete your `100 hours ITT (Information Technology Training)`along with 35 hours of Orientation Programme. These two practical training modules help you when you join your articleship. `!00 hours ITT` will help you learn many basics of computers and its application in the accounts industry. Starting from basics to use computers, then moving forward to MS-Office and thereafter teachig you Tally, which is one of the most basic accounting software in the accounts and finance industry. You are also taught how to file a return.
Since nowadays, use of computers are kind of mandatory in almost all the work you do. It is very important to know more about computers. And that is why ICAI has made **100 hours ITT** mandatory.
You can register for **100 hours ITT** after registering for CA Intermediate | CA IPCC course, irrespective of group wise registration. You may complete the training before or after giving your CA Intermediate | CA IPCC exams, but before the start of your articleship. For graduates registering under Direct Entry Sceme, you just need to register for CA Intermediate | CA IPCC course, then complete ITT and Orientation, and there after you may join articlehip.
**Period of ITT** will be 100 hours in total, which lasts for a month, with an average of 4 hours per class. You will be required to give two mod tests and 1 practical exam within the conduct of the course, and there after a OLT (Online Test) will be held as the final exam.
The tests will be tough, so prepare well, and do take down notes, which your teachers teach you.
