means i want to complete b.com during the period of articles.and also is there any better possible way to do b.com after completion of ca
You can ofcourse complete ur b.com aalongwith articleship that to regular b.com. all u need to do is take permission for the same from ICAI by duly filling and submitting FORM 112.
You can pursue and study Bcom during your articleship. Give importance to relevant topics only in B Com.
Dear Praveen, As far as your first part of question is concerned with regard to completion of B.Com during the period of article solely depend on the mode you chosse for graduation, either you can opt to go for internal graduation or external graduation. The basic difference between INTERNAL B.COM AND EXTERNAL B.COM is attending classes. For doing Internal graduation (B.Com) you have to attend classes regularly as in school days. However, External graduation means completing your graduation courses from correspondences as in IGNOU etc. Where you normally dont have to attend classes, you just have to sit for exam. Currently, many universities like IGNOU, Annamalai University, Bhartihar University, SMU etc provide graduation courses through correspondence. Students who dont have time to attend regular classes due to other occupancies or have secured less marks and doesnt get admission in colleges can opt for external mode of graduation. Kindly note currently these correspondence universities are also providing classes (not mandatory to attend), for the benefits of the students. If you are pursuing CA, then you must be aware that CA does not permit doing college beween 11 am to 5 pm, so students need to choose either morning or evening/night shift colleges. Further, ICAI has arrangements with some univerisities (MOUs) like IGNOU and BU where you can get exemptions for doing B.Com in these universities along with CA Course. U should also note that various companies/corporate bodies recruits candidates who have done 15 years of proper schooling - that means aprt from 12 years of school you need to complete your graduation from colleges which conducts regular classes and minimum attendence is compulsory. So you see both INTERNAL B.COM AND EXTERNAL B.COM has its own pros and cons. Now, the answer to your second half of the question relating to is there any better possible way to do b.com after completion of ca You can opt for the univerisities which provide correspondence classes. Kindly note if you do CA along with B.Com you can have the degree of CA and BCom latest after completion of 4.5 years from the day you give your class 12th exam. Presuming you pass all the levels of CA and BCom in their first attemepts. However, if you do bcom after competion of CA, then it would taken another 3 years from the day you complete your CA. (i.e total study period becomes almost 8 years). **Kindly note submission of form 112 to the CA institute is a must if you opt for regular colleges.**
Hi Praveen, First of all let me congratule you for choosing CA . Moving further, yes you can do bcom along with your articleship but for this you will have to submit form 112 stating your college timing & form should bear Signature of your college principal. IGNOU is good option as it will take only 1 year to complete your 3years bcom. Only disadvantage of doing bcom from ignou is its not recognized as that of normal bcom. Hope so m able to give answer to your question.
Dear praveen kumar, You can do B.COM along with CA articleship training. you may join distance education so that it would be easy for you to do both articles and degree simultaneously. you may also pursue B.COM from IGNOU as you can complete it within a year but one thing ,you will recieve the certificate only after completion of articleship training. From my point of view doing B.COM during articles is good option rather than doing it after articles. I also suggest you not to opt for regular B.COM because going college would consume time and you may end up in stress. But the decision is yours. If you do it via distance education you would have lot of time to concentrate on your articleship training and prepare for CA final.remember obtaining permission from ICAI is must by submitting form 112. Hie Praveen.. You can do your bcom with your internship. In morning you can attend your college and after that office. You need to just fill in your internship registration form about the course you pursuing beside CA and timings of that.
BETTER TO COMPLETE B.COM THEN GO FOR ARTICLESHIP BECAUSE IT WILL BE EASIER FOR YOU TO DO ARTICLESHIP AS WELL AS TO GO ANY HIGHER EDUCATION B.COM WILL HELP YOU IF YOU HAVE COMPLETED FOUNDATION PREPARE FOR EXECUTIVE AND THIS WILL GIVE YOU SUFFICIENT KNOWLEDGE SO THAT YOU CAN APPLY GOOD PRACTISING CHARTED ACCOUNTS FIRM IT WILL BE EASIER FOR YOU WORK AND UNDERSTAND CONCEPT AND SITUATION.
Hi Praveen, U must complete b.com. And its very easy ,u can do internal or external. IF u want to do MBA or such any other course then internal b.com is must otherwise u can do external. Indira Gandhi national university gives facility to CA studetnt to complete b.com in one year.ONLY condition u should pass both group of CA Intermediate | CA IPCC. U can search on google as IGNO(Indira Gandhi national university)
hello its better to compete ur bcom during articleship ...remember that its MANDATORY to submit form 112 at the time of registration of articles ...in case of non submission of form 112, icai reserves the right to cancel your training period served.. u can also do bcom from IGNOU university as there is MOU between IGNOU AND ICAI..so u are required to write only five papers !! and other subjects will be exempted for ca students.. in such a case, note that icai gives degree certificate only if u qualify ca...! for more details go through icai website.. but if u wanna do regular degree ,it is advised to pursue degree along with articleship by submitting form 112 all the best.
