I am currently doing CA. I've passed CA Intermediate | CA IPCC. I want to quit CA to become an actuary. Is this advisable?

IT is not advisable to quit CA as per my knowledge do both courses simultaneously as they are independent from each other it is better to study both courses. why because actuary is somewhat difficult when compard to CA so during your articleship program study the actuary course .

Quitting CA for Actuary exams never be an good decision.
Actuary required high degree of aptitude for mathematics and statistics and analytical skills. That an Ca student develop has develop during course completion.
If u done CA before Actuary preparation there is lots of benefits for it.
Corporate , Banks Financial Institution Prefers you first provide you a high package . You can easily enter into Insurance sector demanded high for those who are actuary along with CA.
In future it will count as a demerit in your C.V that u quit CA for actuary and If you r not accommodate yourself for CA how can you crack actuary easily.

The decision to quit CA depends totally on you, it is you who knows what better is for your career aspiration.
If you think, becoming Actuary is career & passion, you should go for it. but make sure you don't quit actuary after clearing 1 or 2 exams.
In my personal opinion, you should not quit CA as you can do both CA & actuary at once also & Actuary after clearing your CA also. CA with Actuary will give better Career Prospects.
Still its your call whether to quit CA & go for actuary.
