Hi, i have completed my CA in India. so if i want to do CPA in US then is there any exemption offered?

Hi,
There are no exemptions offered for CA students.
But , going through CA exams provide a strong background to CA students.
it is definitely relatively easy for an Indian CA to pass the CPA exam provided she adapts herself to the new format and structure of the CPA exam.
Content-wise there is a lot of similarity between the CA and the CPA exams. But taxation entirely is different as it refers to US Taxation.
With just 4 papers to complete and a strong educational background an Indian CA will find it relatively simpler to pass the CPA exams

to be eligible for US CPA...u need to complete 12+4 years graduation OR equivalent credits..ca is not considered as graduation.
