i have paid exam fee of CA Intermediate | CA IPCC for may,nov attempts last year...but due to some problems i didnt attend even single paper in both attempts...if i pass both groups now in may exams what should i say its my 1st attempt or a 3rd one?what should i say in interview for articleship?
Its not matter that wheather you dont give your exam or fail your exam.so as per rule it is treated as your 3rd attempt
It will be considered your 3rd attempt as because u have filled the form and according to the rule it will be counted in your attempt.
Dear sandeep, As per rule if you have filled up the form for the exam, it will be counted as attempt whether you are actually appearing or not. So as per rule this is your third attempt but this need not be disclosed in your resume. Yeah but if your principal (CA ) would ask about your attempts then it would be better to frankly say him about your attempts.
Sandeep, according to ICAI, this will considered ur 3rd attempt. After u become eligible to appear exams, ur attempts are counted, as it was ur discretion to appear or not. Urs may be unavoidable reason not to appear exam, but there are many students who do not appear out of fear of not being fully prepared. So ICAI cannot keep all at first place when extended period was taken to clear ur exam. Moreover, ur attempts do not make much difference for articleship, just specify May'15 as year of passing.
hi sandeep, your attempt will be counted since you are eligible for giving exam..it doesnt matter whether u gave exams or not..only thing you can do is to clarify them if u wil select for personal interview.. i hope it wil be helpful for you..
Hie Sandeep, It will be your 1st attempt, and therefore you should say that you cleared CA Intermediate | CA IPCC in first attempt. You can say them about your reason for not attending previous 2 attempts.
Hi, Congratulations for passing CA Intermediate | CA IPCC, Generally the attempts for CA exam doesn't make much difference once you pass CA. But logically yours will be considered as a first attempt i think as the mark list clearly says that you are absent. With regards Thank You
Dear Sandeep, As per rule if you file your examination form than your attempt counting is start. so in this situation such attempt is your third attempt. As per my views you have no need to write anything in your resume i.e. 1 or 3. however if any question raised in the interview than you explain such issue in the interview. so their is no issue after that. All the very best for your future
