1. select the cell for entering the formula. 2. determine which cell has the price and which cell has the tax rate. then note down the letters of column and numbers to the rows.for eg. A10 would be the cell in the 10th rown of the first column. 3. type = sign to signify that you are entering a numerical formula. 4. enter the formula and your answer will be displayed.
