To study smartly the most important thing is time management. Try to manage the time. Don't try to study too much and nor too less. Most people find it difficult to manage their time. Try to study for about 10 hours a day and keep Sunday for revisions only. Do practice of practical questions as much as you can. Try to remember all deductions and inclusions of Tax. Learn all the Accounting Standards disclosure as it is main and definitely comes in the exam. For Law, Ethics and Communication firstly do the Ethics and Communication as these two easy subjects are easy scoring. After that go for Law. Do the concepts of Auditing and Assurance wholly without leaving anything. If you are able to manage your time then you can easily score good marks in the CA Intermediate | CA IPCC exams.

1. Understand the importance of study material and practice manual. ------------------------------------------------------------------- The books given by the institute are often ignored by the students because they remain engrossed in the notes provided to them by their teachers, but this should not be the case. Exams, specially of subjects like costing, financial management, taxation and accounting ( both of group 1 and advanced accounting) are mostly on the lines parallel to the that of the practice manual. You will often find questions which are similar in nature in your exam, so definitely complete your study mat and practice manual. 2. Must review amendments ------------------------- The institute releases certain amendments that are applicable in your exams roughly a month before the exams, many students do not consider them important and tend to skip out on them, or take them very lightly, but this is not the best idea. amendments are important from the point of view of exam and thus must be done. 3. Assess yourself regularly ---------------------------- Do not get so busy learning that you forget to assess your performance on a regular basis, before appearing for the exams you should have attempted at least 5- 8 mock tests (full syllabus) while properly timing yourself for it. 4. Must go over the RTP ----------------------- The RTP of the institute plays a fundamental role in helping you understand what are the likely topics that are going to be asked in the exams, also it is the best material to practice the questions on particular topics. 5. Pay attention to theory subjects ----------------------------------- Adequate attention must also be paid to theory subjects, when preparing for a theory subject, try to remember the important sections in them, also scoring good marks will be easier if you make diagrams, flowcharts and representations, because it enables the checker to be swift in his checking.
