We know CPAs are the heavy hitters in the accounting world,it is one of the most reputed profession in the US. Now when we take a look at an average CPA salary it amounts to be around $60,000 per year. And moreover it turns out that CPAs enjoy more than just a better job security. The Bureau of Labor Statistics has determined a 10-year growth rate for the CPA profession at 22%, much higher than the average for all other careers. When we compare the salary that a CPA brings in versus another professions in accountancy world, there is a significant difference.A person with a CPA License and with a notable experience earns between $65,000 - $125,000 per year. CPA's undergo a practical training experience which makes them highly skilled in their field and accordingly they have the options to choose in which area they wont to pursue their career. They generally handle accounting, taxes, reporting, and audit processes for governments, corporations, and individual clients. While negotiating make sure you know the value you bring the table. Personality can be a very important factor. You can have the best background and all the skills, but if you don’t fit within the company culture, you’re unlikely to get the job. Above all, don’t sell yourself short. You bring a specific personality, quality and respect to the position, so ensure you’re demonstrating that. This can be the difference between maxing out your salary and only receiving the bare minimum.
