You definitely have to appear for second group each subjects to gain exemption in idt.Attendance in second group is must to gain exemption though you dont need pass in other subjects ie costing,Isca or dt but attendance is compulsory..

Yes you must appear in all the subjects in that group in order to claim exemption. Doesn't matter even if you get a zero, you must be present for the other papers.
Its not necessary that you have to appear for whole group . You can go with single subject . But its good to go and give exam for all others if prepared at least once so that you can have idea about the practical situation . And you may never know about uncertainty for single paper .
