Hi,
I appeared for Group 2 in May 17. The status of my result is F-EX with 60 marks in IDT and grand total 166. However, I read somewhere that when you get an exemption there is '#' sign against the marks of the subject you get an exemption in. But there is no indication against any subject or nor # sign ,just the status is F-EX. So pls guide me as to whether it means I have got an exemption in that subject or not?
Hello, when you give exam in NOV 2017 and that exam result will be declared in Jan 2018, in that marksheet you will see # mark against your IDT subject alongwith the marks you got i.e. 60. This # mark is given on marksheet to tell employers and others that # marked subject is already passed by respective student in earlier exam (in your case May 2017) and in Nov 2017 exam student has appeared for remaning subjects and this # mark also tells that all the subjects are not passed at single sitting. # mark is not given in the same exam marksheet in which you got exemption.
So, don"t worry it neither typing mistake nor technical mistake , you have got exemption for IDT, start preparation for remaing subjects.
All the best!!!
