Hello Sir, I have completed my graduation with an aggregate of 49%. As per the rules I think i am not eligible to undertake CA Intermediate | CA IPCC. But I am eligible for Accounting Technician Certificate (ATC). What i wanted to know is, is it compulsory to appear for CA Foundation | CA CPT. Can anyone give me clear clarification and i have got 6 years of experience.

Yes it is mandatory to attempt CA Foundation | CA CPT if the person get less than 50%in graduation.So u should attempt CA Foundation | CA CPT. and for CA course experience did not matters.

For Charted Accountant course, the previous work experience does not count. Graduates with a minimum of 55% or 54.5% can register directly for CA-IPC. Hence, for CA-IPC/ATC you need to pass CA Foundation | CA CPT mandatorily.
