Hello friends, As we all know from May 2016 course is changing,My Doubt is what will happen to students who are under existing scheme who did not pass out .
Students who are register under the current scheme can complete the course under the old scheme. Institute give sufficient attempts to students who are register under old syllabus . After some attempt as decided by ICAI , old Student have to migrate to CA new syllabus 2016. And moreover the applicability of new course is in doubt that from which attempt course will be change as Icai has only set target to implement the course from May 16 , So we have to wait uptill any further announcement received from Icai on the same matter
The students who are under current scheme will be provided sufficient time to clear the exam for eg. 3 years means 6 attempts if the students not able to clear within the prescribed time limit given by ICAI then that student have to compulsory register under new scheme. Like PE-II students converted in PCC and PCC students converted in CA Intermediate | CA IPCC
**DOUBT IN CA REVISED SYALLABUS APPLICABLE FROM MAY 2016** : Though ICAI has released changes in syllabus it is still not clear from which attempt it will be applicable so just wait for the notification from the institute . ICAI has just set the target for making new syllabus applicable from may 2016 attempt it is still not confirmed . Institute will surely provide relief to students who are presently under the current scheme to complete the course under the current scheme only , they will give sufficient number of attempts to complete the CA exams in old scheme .So there is nothing for you to bother about whether new syllabus 2016 is applicable to you or not. As you know it is a long process and this process takes time, for instance approval of government for its implementation , So you just focus on your current scheme.
Hello, Now the ICAI has introduce the new syllabus from the May-16 onward. So it become applicable to everyone. Whereas for the existing students the institute has decided that it will also follow the old syllabus till 1 year i.e. till Nov-16 exam only and there after everyone has to follow the new syllabus even if the student who was with the old syllabus. Make more efforts and give your best that you can soon crack and didn't have to worry about the new syllabus. New syllabus also does not have many thing new but few changes and inclusion of one new subject as per the recent notification of institute
ICAI always gives sufficient number of attempts to students under old scheme to complete the course, otherwise after that duration it is required to convert to new scheme. however number of attempts for this new scheme is still awaited
hi,As per icai, students who are under the current scheme can complete the course under the current scheme. icai will give sufficient number of attempts to complete the CA exams in old syllabus . Then you will migrate to CA new syllabus 2016. So there is nothing for you to bother about whether new syllabus 2016 is applicable to you or not. As you know it is a long process and this process takes time, government approves takes time to implement. So you just focus on your current scheme. hope it will help you
Nair, whenever there is a course change, existing students are not much affected by it. They are given sufficient number of attempts to clear in the old course itself. This new course will be applicable for the new enrollments. Also, there will be a transition scheme, where a existing student can opt to shift into the new course. But yes, after ICAI decides to completely close the old course, the existing student will also have to shift without any option. But also ICAI provides enough attempts for old ones where normally most students pass out in the same course they had started with.
