Which is better with CA- Actuaries/CFA/MBA in Finance?
HELLO, MY DEAR FRIEND, CA IS A ULTIMATE LAST STEP IN COMMERCE, BUT IF YOU WANT TO ENHANCE YOUR MARKET VALUE & LEARN SOMETHING NEW THAN CFA IS FAR BETTER THAN ANY COURSE WITH CA DEGREE. AS I PERSONALLY FEEL IT WILL MAKE YOUR CAREERS BETTER IN TERMS OF MONEY. THANK YOU. REGARDS, RITHIK MODI HELPING HAND.
to do other course with ca is a good thing as we can improve our knowledge but the courses which you want to you pursue are different from each other if you are good in statistics and mathematics you prefer to do actuaries by writing acet exam which is the eligilbility test . and for doing cfa course it needs more money as the exams fees is a cost of 45,000to 50,000 per attempt which will be valid for that attempt so i think it is not better to take cfa course right now . it is better to cwa/cs with ca course as you will try to improve your subject by reading all the three levels as we ca students are getting exemptions in both courses there is no need to write cwa foundation if you have qualified CA Intermediate | CA IPCC and there is no need to write cs foundation if you have passed CA Foundation | CA CPT so choose any of the course you like if you want to gain knowledge in law better prefer to take cs course
Dear student, First of all i will tell you to complete your present Course that you are pursuing i.e. CA because it is a good professional course and is complete in all respect but sometimes due to any reason students want to take second option to save the time that they have during the course of articleship training of 2.5 years, before appearing for exams. There is a lot of different opinions on this issue. If you want to know about courses which you can opt with CA course then there are lot of options available like short term diploma courses like financial modelling, courses like CS, CWA, CPA, CFA, Actuaries which are covered under the term professional courses. Actuaries and CFA have different areas i.e. actuary gives you area to explore in insurance sector etc and on the other hand for stock market knowledge you have to opt for CFA. CPA is one of the above courses which I think is like CA and the companies which have their entities in foreign countries and want a single person with knowledge of other laws also then such types of companies will prefer CPA instead of CA. For the correct choice of other course, you have to check your areas of specialisation and also the areas of your interests because without this preliminary step of selection you will not find the correct course. After considering the area of your interests, in my opinion, as per the preference of recruiters in latest job posts you can opt either CS or CPA and if you have short duration then instead of these courses you should opt for short term diploma courses that can make a value addition in your key areas, specialisation and help you in exploring your current course opportunities itself. Dear just go for CA course dont need any other course like MBA finance. Because MBA finance is just 1% of CA, go for CA course. For security you can do start CS with CA but keep in mind that you can not do training of both courses at the same time. CS course today is on going upward and demanding in the Industry. So you have one that option also. Bit i dont think of MBA finance course. Thanks Ca Abhishek gupta 9915614108
You can start doing CFA . With a sound knowledge in CA you will have lot of help in subjects like FSA and equity . It is not tougher than CA in India. With a bit of hard work , finance aptitude and reasoning skills you can do it.
With CA, one can do MBA in Finance form any UGC recognised University or from any reputed B Schools. Though, CA is a professional qualification but MBA in Finance is some how a different program than CA . MBAs are equipped with managerial skills and has leadership qualities. A qualified CA generally does not require any additional qualification either to get a job or for professional practice. But, to get higher position in the industry like CFO (Chief Finance Officer), CAO (Chief Accounts Officer), CFC (Chief Finance Controller), CA with MBA in Finance is desirable and always a better option. Therefore, any CA can do MBA in Finance for their betterment in career and for more recognition among the industry. However, Actuaries and CFA are two different professional qualification and has specific area for work.
