Hi,
I would like to share my own experience as I refer only modules from CA Foundation | CA CPT to Final but whenever I used to get confused with any points I used to get the same concept from another ref book, it is not required to follow same book for whole syllabus or but u can refer it for only some part or for only that part which is not clearly cover in module or PM for Ex. topic of mutual fund in SFM ca final module there is not sufficient theory or Concepcion on practical problems then u can refer other book for advance problems. Same thing is for CA final FR about guidance notes I think almost 70% students don't read it but u can refer it form ref book and u will find it very interesting rather than which is given in module.
Module and ICAI's other material is best for study but it very time consuming and large volume hence just give some time for selection of books and material but remember one thing refer only that material which gives u more confidence and conceptual understanding rather than taking advise please try at your own by reading various books or material for one or more topic and choose final one at your own but gaining confidence is more important. it is not necessary to take very costly books it is depend on your learning capacity and power of understanding the things, if u are good at both then u can refer short and time saving material rather than very detail and brief material.
In short choose right material at right time as per your convince and experience.
Best luck.
