How do I edit name in the PAN card application?

A Permanent Account Number (PAN) is one of the most important documents in the country today. It is an identification number which the Income Tax Department gives to all taxpayers.Those who wish to update/ correct any of the data on PAN card (photo, name, father’s name, date of birth), or those given earlier in PAN application (address, etc), can be corrected by submitting a separate application to pan card update center.

Dear Subodh, if you want to make any correction in your PAN Card data than you should have to file form with the income tax deptt. find the link of form: http://www.incometaxindia.gov.in/Documents/form-for-changes-in-pan.pdf If you want to make correction in your Name than you should file above form along with identity proof which contain your correct name. and address proof also. you should attach two passport size photo in such form also.
