The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has invited applications for recruitment to posts of officers in Grade 'B' through a competitive exam. A total of 117 vacancies are to be filled.
Here's the eligibility criteria:
Age limit:
The candidates applying for the posts should be aged between 21 and 30. For candidates with M. Phil or PhD degrees, the upper age limit will be 31 and 33 years respectively.
Educational qualification:
Candidates are required to possess a first-class Bachelor's degree or
The candidates should possess a second-class Master's degree or
The candidates should possess a PhD with at least 50 per cent marks or
The candidates should be Chartered Accountants/ Cost Accountants/ Company Secretaries or
The candidates should have a post graduate diploma in management/ MBA from institutions recognised by the Government of India/ University Grants Commission, with graduation/bachelor's degree.
In case the universities/ institutes have not awarded class or percentage of marks and allotted aggregate grade points, the undefined parameters would be worked out as under:
Equivalent CGPA/OGPA/CPI on a 10-point scale:
Class: Aggregate percentage of marks
6.75: I (First): 60 per cent
6.25: II (Second): 55 per cent
5.75: II (Second): 50 per cent
The exam is scheduled to take place on August 2, 3, 9, 10.
