After graduation, you can start CA course by direct entry scheme but there are some criteria for entry through direct entry scheme:

  • If you are graduate from commerce with 55% and above, then you are eligible for direct entry scheme.
  • If you are graduate but not from commerce background and you scored 60% or above, then you are eligible for direct entry scheme.

Register with the ICAI for the Intermediate course. Now you have to go through eight months of study period after registration to appear in the Intermediate exams.

After completing 9 months of practical training, you can appear in CA Intermediate examinations. The students who are appearing through the Direct Entry Route have to complete first the nine months training period of their articleship to appear in the CA intermediate.

Before this 9 months articleship training you have to complete IT and OT training first.

The registration fee for students is Rs. 15000 for both groups and Rs.11000 for a single group, Students activities fee is Rs. 2000 for both groups or the single group and registration fee as article assistant is Rs. 1000 for both groups. The overall fee is Rs.18000 for both groups and 13000 for the single group.

Cost of Prospectus Rs. 200 (US $ 20) is to be paid by direct entry students in addition to above fees.
