The Countdown Begins For November Exams

The Countdown Begins For November Exams

The Final Countdown begins for CA exams. Start your preparations rapidly to get through and come out with flying colors.

Less than 1 weeks left for this month to get over and then one of two most ‘deadliest’ month of the year would be ‘welcomed’. Everyday when clock strike 12 at night and your cell phone displays the new date, your heart skips a beat. Doesn’t it? You sigh and say “So one day less time left for preparation” and get worried and start panicking.

Relax! It’s not just you; everyone is going through the same condition. The feeling is mutual. But be honest to yourself and ask yourself -for how many more days do you want to continue with this ‘abnormal schedule’ of Eat-Study-Sleep-Study & Repeat. Unnecessarily worrying and panicking is a total waste of time. It won’t improve your performance or efficiency in studies. Instead of telling yourself that you have just less than half a month in hand, tell yourself there is less than just a month left for your independence and see it will definitely make you happy and calm.
You have already been living this isolated life from last few months, so just think about the freedom you are going to get. Yes many of you might have already prepared your ‘To Do List’ post examination days. Look forward to accomplish those. But right now put your heart and soul in preparation. It’s just a matter of few days.
However do not exhaust yourself, else you will find yourself lethargic and dizzy during examination days which can be very dangerous. If you feel stressed, take deep breaths. Tell yourself this is not going to help. Stay cool. Avoid catastrophism, If you have those category of friends who create the examination stress whenever they are around you, just away from them for few days.
Have a rough plan on how you are going to revise the oceanic syllabus within 1.5 days gap. This has to be based on research, importance of chapters, ‘Swot’ analysis, your preparation, notes you have prepared , what major topics you have focused etc. Remember “6 months ki mehnat ek taraf hai and 1.5 days ka revision ek taraf” as said by CA Siddharth Agarwal Sir , to which I would like to add and how well you are able to keep your nerves during those 3 hours and give your ‘super se bhi uper’ shot.
If you are able to manage everything in those 3 phases (the preparation time, revision during 1.5 days, 3 hours in examination hall ) then you don’t need to worry, you already have given your best. Try not to sleep/take a nap during afternoon as it can affect your performance during examinations which are held during afternoon (because of internal biological clock of the body).
Do not jump to new books or authors now .Give yourself small breaks too. You and your brain deserve that, else it will blast off because of overloading 😉 Just keep aside all negative thoughts and keep working hard. I would like to end up by saying “Kismat sath na de alag baat hai par hum koshish bhi na kare ye galat baat hai”
Be cool and face your exams with full confidence. All the best. Do well.
