Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) is a global professional accounting body offering the Chartered Certified Accountant qualification. Its headquarter is located in London. The principal administrative office is in Glasgow.
Chartered Certified Accountant is a legally protected term. Individuals who describe themselves as Chartered Certified Accountants must be members of ACCA as it is with the ICAI that only the memebers can use the term Chartered Accountant as per Chartered Accountants,1949.

The ACCA offers various qualifications the similar one being :

Chartered Certified Accountant
It is the ACCA’s main qualification. After a completion of 14 examinations and 3 years of supervised and relevant training as subscribed by the ACCA, enables an individual to become a Chartered Certified Accountant

The syllabus comprises 14 examinations, although some exemptions are available. The qualification is structured in two parts : Fundamental level and Professional level

Fundamentals level consists of following 9 examinations:

F1 Accountant in Business
F2 Management Accounting
F3 Financial Accounting
F4 Corporate and Business Law
F5 Performance Management
F6 Taxation
F7 Financial Reporting
F8 Audit and Assurance
F9 Financial Management

Professional level involves 5 examinations:

Within the Professional level three papers are compulsory:

P1 Governance, Risk and Ethics
P2 Corporate Reporting
P3 Business Analysis

Two of the following four options papers must also be completed

P4 Advanced Financial Management
P5 Advanced Performance Management
P6 Advanced Taxation
P7 Advanced Audit and Assurance.

The above course offered by the ACCA is similar, in many terms to Chartered Accountancy course offered by the ICAI.
Exemptions are available for the students or the members of the ICAI, for pursuing the Chartered Certified Accountants course. The students or the members of the ICAI can take up this course for futher exposure to international market and standards. Individuals looking forward for career propectives in International Taxation and Accounting can also opt for the Chartered Certified Accountants course.
