Passing Criteria For CS Professional Examinations :  Company Secretary had gained a lot of fame in the recent time and is becoming popular day by day amongst the students as one of the good career option. Company Secretary is a professional who looks after the legal matters and disputes of the companies. He is the professional who practice the corporate law. To pursue a CS a student who has completed their 12th or Graduation degree from any of the stream i.e Commerce, Arts or Science except Fine Arts can apply for the CS course. If you are applying for the course after 12th than you have to give a CS Foundation exam. After clearing the Foundation exam you get eligible for the CS Executive exam and after that for the CS Final exam.

Passing Criteria For CS Professional Examinations :  If you are applying for the CS course after Graduation than you directly can give the CS Executive exam. A student also needs to under go with the Internship . The duration of the Internship differs on the basis of the stage of your CS course. If you have not cleared CS Executive and go for the internship its duration is of three years and on clearing the CS executive the duration of the internship is of two years and after CS Final course it is of one year. CS Professional Status Of Inspection Of Answer book : For those students who are pursuing the course through Foundation Programme i.e. after passing Foundation Programme level, this would be the third level course relating to the CS (Company Secretaries – Professional Accounting) Course.

For those students who are taking up the course after their Graduation this is the second level course.

2. Course Duration

The minimum course duration as per the regulations of the institution is

I. Foundation Programme Examination

Passing Criteria For CS Professional Examinations :  A candidate shall be declared to have passed the Foundation Programme examination if he/she obtains at one sitting a minimum of forty per cent marks in each subject and fifty per cent marks in the aggregate of all the subjects put together. Provided that a candidate who has appeared in all the subjects for which he/she was enrolled and has obtained sixty per cent marks or above in any subject, but failed, shall be declared to have passed in the subsequent examination, if he/she obtains a minimum of forty per cent marks in each remaining subject and fifty per cent marks in the aggregate of the remaining subjects at one sitting within the next three following examinations.

II. Executive Programme Examination

(a) For Both Modules:

A candidate shall be declared to have passed in Both Modules of the Executive Programme examination —

(i) If taken simultaneously and if he/she secures at one sitting, a minimum of forty per cent marks in each of the papers in which he/she is required to appear and fifty per cent marks in aggregate of all the papers put together; or

(ii) If he/she has passed in any one Module of Executive Programme examination held under the old syllabus, prior to the introduction of the Executive Programme examination under the current syllabus and secures at one sitting a minimum of forty per cent marks in each of the remaining papers in which he/she is required to appear and fifty per cent marks in the aggregate of all such remaining papers of the Executive Programme examination put together

(b) For One Module:

Passing Criteria For CS Professional Examinations :  A candidate shall be declared to have passed in one module of the Executive Programme examination if he/she secures at one sitting a minimum of forty per cent marks in each paper and fifty per cent marks in the aggregate of all papers of that module and shall be declared to have completed the Executive Programme examination on passing both the modules.

Passing Criteria For CS Professional Examinations :  Provided that a candidate who has appeared in all the papers of a module, for which he/she was required to enroll, and has secured sixty per cent or more marks in any paper(s) and a minimum of twenty-five per cent marks in each of the remaining paper(s) of the module, but has failed in that module, shall be granted exemption from attempting that or those paper(s) in which he/she secured sixty per cent or more marks, in any subsequent examination. However, the students who are not interested in availing the said exemption may seek cancellation of the same on submission of an application in this behalf on or before the last date of enrolment for the examination in which he/she intends to appear;

Passing Criteria For CS Professional Examinations :  Provided further that if a candidate who has appeared in all the papers of a module for which he/she was enrolled without obtaining any exemption and has failed in one paper of the module, but secured a minimum of sixty per cent of the total marks of the remaining papers of that module, shall be declared to have passed in that module if he/she re-appears in the remaining one paper in which he/she had failed and obtains fifty per cent marks in any subsequent examination.

Explanation: For the purpose of the above provisos, the marks obtained by a candidate in the paper(s) in which he/she had obtained exemption on the basis of having secured sixty per cent or more marks shall not be taken into account for computing his/her result for the remaining paper(s) of the module in any subsequent examination.

III. Professional Programme Examination

(a) For All Modules:

A candidate shall be declared to have passed in all modules of Professional Programme examination ;

(i) If taken simultaneously and if he/she secures at one sitting, a minimum of forty per cent marks in each of the papers in which he/she is required to appear and fifty per cent marks in the aggregate of all the papers put together; or

(ii) If he/she has passed in any one or more module(s) of Professional Programme examination held under the old syllabus prior to the commencement of Professional Programme examination under the new syllabus, and secures at one sitting a minimum of forty per cent marks in each of the remaining papers in which he/she is required to appear and fifty per cent marks in the aggregate of all such remaining papers put together.

(b) For One Module:

A candidate shall be declared to have passed in a module of Professional Programme examination if he/she secures at one sitting a minimum of forty per cent marks in each paper and fifty per cent marks in the aggregate of all the papers of that module and shall be declared to have completed the Professional Programme examination on passing all the modules.

Provided that a candidate who has appeared in all the papers of a module for which he/she was enrolled and has secured sixty per cent or more marks in one paper and a minimum of twentyfive per cent marks in each of the remaining papers of that module but has failed in the module, shall be granted exemption from that or those paper(s) in which he/she secured sixty per cent or more marks, in any subsequent examination. However, the students who are not interested in availing the said exemption may seek cancellation of the same on submission of an application in this behalf on or before the last date of enrolment for the examination in which he/she intends to appear;

Provided further that if a candidate who has appeared in all the papers of the Module for which he has enrolled without obtaining any exemption and has failed in one paper comprised in the Module, but got a minimum of sixty percent of the total marks of the remaining papers of the module shall be declared to have passed in that module if he/she appears in the paper in which he/she had failed and gets fifty per cent marks in any subsequent examination.

Explanation: For the purpose of the above proviso, the marks obtained by a candidate in the paper in which he/she had obtained exemption on the basis of having secured sixty per cent or more marks shall not be taken into account for computing his/her result of the remaining papers of that module for any subsequent examination.

Passing Criteria For CS Professional Examinations : ICSI Exam  Form June 2017: The Institute of Company Secretary of India (ICSI) Started CS Exam Forms for June 2017 attempt, ICSI Exam forms for June 2017 are started from 26th February 2017 and Last Date for CS Exam forms is 27th March 2017. CS Online Exam Form June 2017 for Foundation, Executive, Professional Programs. ICSI Online Examination Form June 2017. CS Professional Online Exam Form June 2017, CS Executive Online Exam Form June 2017, CS Foundation Online Exam Form Procedure June 2017. We wish to inform that online examination enrolment for June,2017 session has been activated and would like to bring to your notice that the last date for submission of examination form (without late fee) is 27th March,2017. Passing Criteria For CS Professional Examinations : The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has announced the timetable for Company Secretaries (CS) Examinations scheduled to be held in June, 2017. Accordingly, the next CS exam for Professional Programme Examination will be held from 1st June, 2017 to 10th June, 2017. The examination for CS Final (Professional) Programme June 2017 session of exams are scheduled to be held from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon.

CS Professional Programme for appearing in June, 2017 examination Starting Date  is 25/03/2017 and  late Date  is 09/04/2017. However, if you want to claim paper-wise exemption in CS Professional Programme on the basis of qualification then please apply  the  before the last date i.e. 9th April, 2017.

The Revision of fee is applicable for all students (I.E. OLD SYLLABUS/ NEW SYLLABUS) with effect from June 2017 Exam . The  Details Of CS Professional fee  are given here under :

CS Professional Exam Fee

The Examination Fee for Professional Programme is Rs. 1200/- per Module. The Institute allows facility to students to appear in examination in English as well as in Hindi. (Except Business Communication subject of Foundation Program).

A candidate is declared to have passed the CS Professional examination, if he/she secures at one sitting a minimum of 40% marks in each paper and 50% marks in the aggregate of all subjects.

Passing Criteria For CS Professional Examinations : DISCONTINUATION OF OFFLINE REGISTRATION AND COMPLETE SWITCHOVER TO ONLINE REGISTRATION June 2017 Exam  As a major step towards imbibing the potential of technology for providing the best services to the students, the Institute has decided to switchover completely to Online Registration System for registrations to Foundation, Executive and Professional Programme with effect from June 2017 Exam . In connection with the above, students applying for admission / registration in Foundation / Executive / Professional Programme may note the followings :

A. OFFLINE REGISTRATION PROCESS FOR CS PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMME :

1. The sale of Registration Application Form (which is forming part of the Prospectus) will stand discontinued effective from June 2017 Exam . The Prospectus will be redesigned and will be continued to be sold to the prospective students and general public. The revised rate of the prospectus will be Rs.200/- which will not contain the Registration Application Form.

2. The Regional Councils & Chapters will not accept the Registration Applications in physical form effective from June 2017 Exam . It is further clarified that the downloaded copies of Registration Forms are also not to be accepted.

3. In case of all Registrations, the Study Materials would be sent by Main Stores(Noida) directly to students immediately on approval of the registration application by the Directorate of Student Services.

4. A “Step by Step Procedure for Online Registration” has been designed and the same is given at the end of this announcement. The same may be used by students as ready reference in future.

5. Students can make payment of applicable fees through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net banking or Bank Challan System ( through Canara Bank Branches).

6. Students are advised not to submit hard copies of supporting documents. Instead, they are required to upload scanned copies of documents in support of their qualification through online mode failing which the registration applications will not be processed.

B. ONLINE REGISTRATION PROCESS FOR CS PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMME :

1. Login to Online Services at www.icsi.edu

2. Click Student and then select My Account

3. Click Professional Registration under “Payment Request” option

4. Upload pass mark sheet of both modules of Executive Programme by clicking on choose file.

5. Make Payment of Rs 12,000/- through Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking.

6. For all successful payments an acknowledgement receipt is generated. in case receipt could not be generated due to any reason ,follow the procedure as given below :

  • Click Student-> select My Account
  • Click payment request->Generate payment Receipt Write Request id and Transaction id and click on check status.
  • If payment is successful then the Receipt would be generated (otherwise the payment is not successful).

7. You are Successfully admitted in Professional Programme

8. In case of unsuccessful payment please resubmit your Professional Registration Form

9. After submission of fees download your Professional Registration Letter & E Identity Card under “other” option
