Online Filling Of Delhi University Bcom Examination Form – UG Courses Admission

Admission in majority of the programmes offered at colleges affiliated to Delhi University is on the basis of merit wherein the best-of-four percentage is calculated. Here, candidates can select marks scored by them in any four subjects in their Class XII exams and thereafter calculate the aggregate marks/percentage scored by them.

After calculating their best of four score, aspirants need to check the cut-off lists released by Delhi University. If they meet the cut-offs released for DU admissions they are eligible to secure a seat in the course and college of their choice.

Candidates are informed that DU has decided to release only five cut-off lists each year for admissions. After the five lists are released if seats still remain vacant in some DU colleges then these colleges are allowed to conduct their own admission process in order to shortlist aspirants for admission to fill the vacant seats.

It may be noted that admission in MBA courses offered at Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), DU is done on the basis of CAT scores followed by a Personal Interview (PI) round and an extempore speech (if applicable).

Also, candidates need to carry some documents in original in order to secure admission in DU colleges. View list of documents for DU admissions here.

Admission through Entrance Exam

Merit is not the only means through which students can secure admission in courses offered at DU. This is because many colleges in DU conduct entrance exams in order to shortlist aspirants for admission in certain UG as well as PG courses.

For courses in which entrance tests are conducted, aspirants need to first meet the minimum eligibility criteria and thereafter appear for a written entrance exam.

Those candidates interested for admission in UG programmes, they have to fill the common Pre-admission form either online or offline mode for all categories (General/OBC/SC/ST/PwD). The university will not conduct any entrance exam for admission in UG courses. There will be no Pre-admission form at the college level. There are two separate common Pre-Admission forms viz General/OBC and SC/ST/PwD. After filling the admission form, candidate has to submit it at any of the designated centers of the University. There is no need to send photocopies of certificates/documents with the application form. No application fee will be submitted.

DU Application Form 2017 will be released via online mode. Delhi University offers education in different fields like engineering, law, management, science, arts, commerce and many other fields. This university offers admission on the basis of Delhi University Entrance Exam and merit list of the qualifying examination.
