Kerala open University Bcom List Colleges : The University of Travancore which eventually became the University of Kerala was established in 1937 by a promulgation of the Maharaja of Travancore, Sri Chithira Thirunal Balarama Varma who was also the first Chancellor of the University. Sir C. P Ramaswamy Ayyar, the then Diwan of the State, was the first Vice-Chancellor.

Eligibility Criteria / Entry Requirements:

Kerala open University Bcom List Colleges : Pass in the Pre-Degree Examination of this University or an examination accepted by the Academic Council as equivalent thereto with Accountancy and any two of the following subjects: viz.(I) Commerce (ii) Commercial Geography (iii) Economics (iv) Life Insurance with Salesmanship (v) Banking and Secretarial Practice (vi) Business Communication and (vii) Office management, as optional subjects or pass in the Pre-Degree or equivalent examination with other optional subjects securing not less than 45% of the aggregate marks.
