Jamia Milia Islamia University Mcom List of Colleges : Jamia Millia Islamia came into existence in’1920 through the tireless efforts of its founders, such as Shaikhul Hind Maulana Mahmud Hasan, Maulana Muhammad Ali Jauhar, Hakim Ajmal Khan, Dr. Mukhtar Ahmad Ansari, Jenab Abdul Majeed Khwaja and Dr. Zakir Husain. It symbolizes the unflinching and resolute commitment of these great visionaries in bringing about socio-economic transformation of common masses, in general, and Muslims, in particular through the vehicle of education.

The Department of Commerce and Business Studies established in 1985 with a vision to be the leading Business School in India by educating and training the students and facilitate creation and development of value added human resource of Global standard. Completion of Admission Formalities

(i) A candidate seeking admission for a programme, should bring her/his original documents for verification at the time of admission with documents verification form.

(ii) The candidate will be considered “Provisionally Admitted” only after payment of the prescribed fee and verification of documents on or before the last date given in the admission schedule.

(iii) Provisional admission may be offered to a candidate whose final year results are not declared till the cut off dates mentioned in the Admission Guide, provided they submit their mark sheets on or before the last date of admission.

(iv) The verification of candidates and their documents shall be done by the Office of the CDOL at the time of completion of admission process or at the Study Centre chosen by the candidates.

(v) The re-verification process of students admitted in various programmes shall be done at the Head Office, CDOL. In case of any discrepancy, appropriate police/criminal action shall be taken against the erring students.

(vi) The original certificates will be returned after verification. However, if required, the CDOL may seek the document(s) at any time later.

(vii) Programme fee once paid will not be refunded. It is also not adjustable against any other programme of this University. However, in case of cancellation of admission, the programme fee will be refunded after deduction of processing fee within 30 days from the date of admission. 80 per cent of the total fees will be refunded, if any, through RTGS in Applicant’s bank account only. No relaxation in time period will be admissible.

(viii) The candidate would be admitted at a Study Centre if there are sufficient numbers of admission seekers in a programme. However, if the numbers of admission seekers at a Study Centre are inadequate, students may be given the following options:

•  May be admitted at any other Study Centre, where there are sufficient numbers of admission seekers if she/he wishes so.
• May change the programme at the same Study Centre, the fees will be adjusted accordingly.
• May withdraw her/his admission. In such a case, 100 per cent programme fees will be refunded.

(ix) The student who has paid her/his programme fee will be given a Roll Number, which will also be mentioned in the Identity Card. The Enrollment Number and the Roll Number thus allotted will continue for the maximum period allowed for the programme or until the programme-work is over, whichever is earlier. The Roll Number will change only if one registers afresh for the same programme. The Enrollment Number does not change even if one seeks deferment.

A candidate will have to choose any one Study Centre where the Programme is being offered and write the code number of that Study Centre on the Application Form. A Study Centre once opted shall not be changed.
