ICSI User Manual For Student Enrolment Services :  The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has announced that the Company Secretary (CS) examination applications in physical form will not be accepted for June, 2017 session examination. Accordingly, the physical exam form will be immediately rejected by the CS Institute without any prior notice.

This is because, the ICSI has gone online for all services related to students including Online Registration System for admissions/ registrations to Foundation, Executive and Professional Programme with effect from 1st January, 2014. Therefore, you have to fill up and submit your CS Exam Forms online for June 2017 attempt of CS Foundation, Executive and Professional Programme Examinations.

Introduction This document will guide the enrolled students who want to make changes in the enrolment. Changes can be made in appearing enrolment module, centre and medium (English or Hindi) for a particular session. Apply For Enrolment Services To make any changes in the enrolment, user have option to apply for 5 services from Examination Enrolment Request page. Below are the 5 enrolment services that user can request after enrolment for a limited time period-

1. Addition of Module

2. Deletion of Module

3. Interchange of Module

4. Centre Change

5. Medium Change

That means you may now fill up and submit your exam form online without paying any transaction charges just like postage and demand draft charges, travelling cost etc. as these all charges will be borne by the CS Institute itself and you may also be able to save your valuable time etc. Those students who have registered themselves for the CS Foundation Course/ CS Executive Course/ CS Professional Course can enrol in the course for the session any time after 6 months of the registration.

The last date for receipt of online examination enrolment application and payment of examination fees for appearing in CS Exams June, 2017 without late fee is Saturday, 25th March, 2017 (25.03.2017). However, students appearing for CS Foundation/ CS Executive/ CS Professional June 2017 Exams may also submit exam form online with late fee of ₹250 on or before the last date i.e. 9th April, 2017 (09.04.2017) up to 12:00 midnight.

ICSI User Manual For Student Enrolment Services : The Revision of fee is applicable for all students (I.E. OLD SYLLABUS/ NEW SYLLABUS) with effect from June 2017 Exam . The  Details Of CS Professional fee  are given here under :

CS Professional Exam Fee

The Examination Fee for Professional Programme is Rs. 1200/- per Module. The Institute allows facility to students to appear in examination in English as well as in Hindi. (Except Business Communication subject of Foundation Program).

• Late Fee for receipt of Examination Application – Rs.250
• Change of Examination Center/Module/Medium – Rs.250

Note: Surcharge for appearing in Examinations from Overseas Centre (Dubai) (over and above normal Examination Fee) US$ 100 (or equivalent amount in Indian Rupees)

Other Fees :

CS Professional Passing Marks: 

A candidate is declared to have passed the CS Professional examination, if he/she secures at one sitting a minimum of 40% marks in each paper and 50% marks in the aggregate of all subjects.

CS Professional Registration Cut-Off Dates:

• 28th February for appearing in both modules in December Exams in the same year.
• 31st May for appearing in single module in December Examination in the same year
• 31st August  for appearing in both modules in June Exam in the next year
• 30th November for appearing in single module in June Examination in the next year.

ICSI User Manual For Student Enrolment Services : DISCONTINUATION OF OFFLINE REGISTRATION AND COMPLETE SWITCHOVER TO ONLINE REGISTRATION June 2017 Exam  As a major step towards imbibing the potential of technology for providing the best services to the students, the Institute has decided to switchover completely to Online Registration System for registrations to Foundation, Executive and Professional Programme with effect from June 2017 Exam . In connection with the above, students applying for admission / registration in Foundation / Executive / Professional Programme may note the followings :

A. OFFLINE REGISTRATION PROCESS FOR CS PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMME :

1. The sale of Registration Application Form (which is forming part of the Prospectus) will stand discontinued effective from June 2017 Exam . The Prospectus will be redesigned and will be continued to be sold to the prospective students and general public. The revised rate of the prospectus will be Rs.200/- which will not contain the Registration Application Form.

2. The Regional Councils & Chapters will not accept the Registration Applications in physical form effective from June 2017 Exam . It is further clarified that the downloaded copies of Registration Forms are also not to be accepted.

3. In case of all Registrations, the Study Materials would be sent by Main Stores(Noida) directly to students immediately on approval of the registration application by the Directorate of Student Services.

4. A “Step by Step Procedure for Online Registration” has been designed and the same is given at the end of this announcement. The same may be used by students as ready reference in future.

5. Students can make payment of applicable fees through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net banking or Bank Challan System ( through Canara Bank Branches).

6. Students are advised not to submit hard copies of supporting documents. Instead, they are required to upload scanned copies of documents in support of their qualification through online mode failing which the registration applications will not be processed.

B. ONLINE REGISTRATION PROCESS FOR CS PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMME :

1. Login to Online Services at www.icsi.edu

2. Click Student and then select My Account

3. Click Professional Registration under “Payment Request” option

4. Upload pass mark sheet of both modules of Executive Programme by clicking on choose file.

5. Make Payment of Rs 12,000/- through Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking.

6. For all successful payments an acknowledgement receipt is generated. in case receipt could not be generated due to any reason ,follow the procedure as given below :

• Click Student-> select My Account
• Click payment request->Generate payment Receipt Write Request id and Transaction id and click on check status.
• If payment is successful then the Receipt would be generated (otherwise the payment is not successful).

7. You are Successfully admitted in Professional Programme

8. In case of unsuccessful payment please resubmit your Professional Registration Form

9. After submission of fees download your Professional Registration Letter & E Identity Card under “other” option

Students can download their e-Identity card and registration letter from Institute’s website www.icsi.edu after approval of their application by the Institute by following the given below simple procedure:

1. Click on online services log at www.icsi.edu

2. Log in to your account .Enter your “Username” & “Password”

3. Click on “student” option

4 Open “my account”

5 Go to “others” option at student’s account

6 Students can download registration letter / e-Identity card at others option at their account

After downloading the Identity card, students are compulsorily required to get it attested by any of the following authorities with his/her seal carrying name, professional membership No., designation and complete official address

ICSI User Manual For Student Enrolment Services :   Practical experience and training requirements 

1. 15 months training after passing the Executive Programme or Professional Programme on completion of Student Induction Program and Executive Development Program with companies and Company Secretaries in Practice registered with the Institute for imparting training

2. 25 hours of Professional Development Programme (PDP) during 15 months training

3. 8 days Executive Development Programme (EDP) – after passing the Executive Programme and before commencement of 15 months training.

4. 3 months practical training is required to be undergone by the student if the student completes professional program examination and exempted from undergoing at least 12 months training on the basis of Company Secretaries Regulations,1982, as amended on submitting the documents to the Institute and fulfills the requirement of Regulation 48. This training will be exempted to the students who have undergone 15 months training.

5. 15 days training in a specialized agency such as Registrar of Companies (ROC) / Stock Exchange / Financial and Banking Institution/Management Consultancy Firm can only be commenced if the student completes SIP,EDP , 15 months training and having passed professional program examination.

6. 15 days Management Skills Orientation Programme (MSOP)- after Professional Programme and on completion of Executive Development Program and 15 months training

.7. The students can be exempted from undergoing training totally or partially depending on the practical experience possessed by them on fulfilling the requirement of the Company Secretaries Regulations,1982, as amended, on submitting the relevant documents.

8. A student after passing the Professional Programme may enroll as ‘Licentiate ICSI’ at his/her option until completion of training requirements.
