ICSI CSEET Study Plan for May 2020 Exam

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has introduced CS Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) for admission into CS Executive.

As per the schedule released by ICSI, CSEET will be conducted four times a year, on May 20, July 20, November 20, 2020 and January 20, 2021. Candidates will be required to register for CSEET 2020 before April 15 to appear for the exam on May 20. To appear for CSEET on July 20, candidates have to register by June 15; registrations close on October 15 for the exam held on November 20 while the regsitrations for January 20, 2021 exam close on December 15. CSEET will comprise of MCQs in the computer based test with audio and video clips as well as descriptive questions in the viva voce. The CSEET 2020 will be conducted for a duration of 135 minutes (120 minutes for MCQs and 15 minutes for viva voce). The result will indicate the qualifying status of each candidate and will be valid for a period of one year from its declaration.

How to Pass the CSEET

Familiarize Yourself with the Test: 

Familiarize yourself with the test by Practicing.

Speak with Others: 

Speak with Others especially with your friends who are also appearing in CSEET.

Build a Study Plan: Since time available for studies is no unlimited, you should do analysis of past trends and accordingly cover 80% of the topics from which 95% of exam questions are covered.

 

Revision:

Revision is a very important part for achieving success in any exam. You remember only 20% of what you read after 24 hours, so multiple quick revisions are very necessary.

 

Practice:

 Practice is the most important part of your preparation and should be given 100% focus. Once you have completed your first revision of all subjects, its time to take mock test.. mock test help a lot in preparing you for exam day and also highlight your weak areas.
