Delhi University Bcom List Of Documents During Registration : The registration process for undergraduate courses in Delhi University will be different this time as aspirants will have to upload their academic certificates and other documents. Earlier, they were only required to fill the form.

The university has issued a list of  documents that will be required during registration, though all of them will not be mandatory for every aspirant. There will be one centralised registration form, expected to be an exhaustive one, for all categories of aspirants.

Some documents that are mandatory for all candidates are Class X and XII certificates and marksheets; a scanned copy of signature; recent photograph; character certificate; transfer and migration certificates (for aspirants who completed their schooling outside Delhi).
According to officials, the university has made the complete process online and there will be no option of physical submission of documents. All the documents need to be self-attested. The officials added that the candidates should be careful in filling the form as incomplete forms will be rejected
The online registration forms will be available from June 1 and the university is likely to notify the details on May 31.
On the online application forms, aspirants will get the details of colleges and the courses they offer. They will also get to know which colleges offer which sport under the ECA category. Those registering will also get to know the eligibility criteria through the form. Around 22 colleges will offer concession on cutoff for female candidates.
Mathematics will be compulsory for economics honours aspirants. Also, a candidate will be allowed to take economics even if she has not studied the subject at the Class XII level.
Online Registration
i. Candidates seeking admission to the Undergraduate (UG) Courses in different colleges of the
University of Delhi are required to register online.
ii. There is a common Web Portal for the centralized registration of candidates and a common
registration form for admission to all the Undergraduate Courses in the University.

The applicants shall be required to produce following documents in original with two sets of self-attested photocopies at the time of admission:
1. Class X Board Examination Certificate
2. Class X Marks-Sheet
3. Class XII Marks-Sheet
4. Class XII Provisional Certificate / Original Certificate
5. Character Certificate (recent)
6. SC/ST/PwD/CW/KM Certificate (in the name of the candidate) issued by the competent authority
7. OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Certificate (in the name of the Candidate) issued by competent authority
8. Transfer Certificate from school / college as well as Migration Certificate from Board / University are required from those students who have passed senior secondary exam from outside Delhi
9. At least two passport size self-attested photographs.
NOTE:
The University will accept self-attested copies of documents / papers provided by the students. It is made clear that if any false attestation / falsified records are detected, the student will be debarred from attending any course in the University / or its Colleges for next five years and in addition, a criminal case under relevant sections of IPC (viz. 470,471,474 etc.) will be instituted against him/her.

Admission Procedure – Requirements for Admission – Qualifying Examinations
Qualifying examinations for the purpose of admission to the first year of undergraduate courses offered by the University shall be Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class XII) of the Central Board of Secondary Education or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto.
Candidate seeking admission to the courses offered by the University should have passed the qualifying examination obtaining minimum marks as specified for each of the courses in subsequent sections.

 Age Requirement
There is no minimum age bar for admission to undergraduate courses in the University and its colleges except in professional courses where regulatory body prescribes minimum age requirement (such as MCI, AICTE etc.) (Ordinance I) Gap year(s) would be no bar for purposes of admission to the undergraduate courses.

Equivalence Criteria
The applications for admission to the Undergraduate Courses in the Colleges in respect of candidates belonging to the Examining bodies of Boards / Universities recognized / accredited by the Association of Indian University / University Grants Commission / Ministry of Human Resource
Development shall be considered by the College / Department in terms of the following recommendations as circulated in the University circular letter of 13 – 1- 2005.
That various degrees from Universities recognized by the Association of Indian Universities University Grants Commission / Ministry of Human Resource Development or by any bilateral agreement be considered as equivalent to corresponding degrees of University of Delhi subject to the conditions that course duration is same as in Delhi University for purposes of determining eligibility for admission to various courses and
further Departments / Colleges may be allowed to evolve procedure through their respective Admission Committees.
Senior School Certificate of various Boards recognized by Association of Indian Universities / Central Board of Secondary Education is considered as equivalent to the Senior School Certificate of Central Board for the purposes of eligibility to various Undergraduate Courses.
Students who pass various Degree / School Examination of Foreign Universities / Boards as have already been approved by the Equivalence Committee, from time to time, be considered eligible as a matter of routine. The cases of only those candidates who do not fall in the list of Association of Indian Universities /University Grants Commission/ Ministry of Human Resource Development recognized accredited Boards/ Universities shall be referred to the University on the basis of individual merit.
(i)Weightage will be given to the certificates of winners/ participants at International, National, State, Zonal and School level and trials are as follows: Certificates: 25% Trials: 75%. The certificates to be considered should not be more than three years old.
(ii) Not more than 15% concession in academic merit vis-à-vis general category candidates (last cut-off or 5th cut-off whichever is earlier) may be given for admission to specific courses (subject to the minimum eligibility of course).
(iii) Trials will be held at two levels: (i) Preliminary trials (ii) Final trials.
(iv) Committee for preliminary trials. The colleges identified by Culture Council of University of Delhi will be conducting preliminary and final trials for a specific activity. The candidates should go through the notifications issued by the colleges and university on their website.
(v) The date/dates for the Preliminary / Final trials shall be notified and displayed on the University Website and shall also be displayed on the College Notice Board well in advance.
(vi) The candidates shall be allowed to appear at the preliminary level only once in an event.
(vii) The list of the short listed candidates for final trials will be notified on the University Website, College Website and Notice Board for which the college been assigned the activity.
(viii) The colleges should videograph the preliminary and final trials and maintain records.
(ix) The trials for admission under ECA category shall be conducted by the ECA Admission Committee. The ECA admission committee will be nominated by staff council of the college and the structure will be as follows:
I. Principal (Chairperson)
II. Culture Committee Incharge (Convenor)
III. Nominee/s of the Culture Council
IV. At least two experts from
a. National School of Drama
b. Sri Ram Centre for Performing Arts
c. Faculty of Music & Fine Arts
d. Indian Council for Cultural Relations
e. College of Art
f. Sangeet Natak Academyg. Sahitya Kala Parishad
h. All India Radio/ Doordarshan (‘A’ Grade Artists)
i. Experts from University fraternity in areas of their expertise
At least three members including two experts must be present throughout the trials for marking and evaluation.

Instructions
1. The allotment of course / subject to the qualified candidates shall conform to University regulations and will be the sole responsibility of the College.

2. The allotment of course/subject may be finalized by ECA Admission Committee which will include Chairperson (Principal), ECA/Cultural Committee and One faculty member nominated by the Staff Council.
3. The candidate must have secured at least 50% marks in final trials (38 out of 75) to be eligible, while preliminary round are qualifying.
4. The list of finally selected candidates containing marks of the ECA Certificates and Trials along with course/subject allotted shall be displayed on the College Website and Notice Board for three days to take cognizance of the grievances, if any. All the grievances must be resolved within three days before admitting the students.
5. A candidate having any grievance should apply to Grievance Committee of the College.
6. Merit list of the candidates selected for admission after the finals shall be notified on the respective College Website and the Notice Board. The admission of candidates thereafter will be completed on University Admission Portal as notified.
7. The ECA Admission Committee of the College shall:
a. screen the applications / forms uploaded by the candidates
b. verify original ECA Certificate of the candidates as per marks allotted by ECA Committee.
8. An Undertaking shall be submitted by the selected students at the time of admission stating that the candidate will perform for the College and University, all the years, during candidate’s undergraduate course of study.
9. The candidate submitting false / fake certificate will be debarred from admission to any course in any College for three years. If a candidate is admitted on false/fake certificates, the candidate’s admission will be cancelled and such cases will be notified to all the Colleges.
10. The decision of ECA Admission Committee shall be final.
11. All the ECA trials both preliminary and final must be open to all.
12. The College shall maintain proper record of the candidates admitted on the basis of ECA. The following activities have been approved by the admission committee for ECA.

Guidelines for admission on the basis of Sports in Undergraduate courses
The Colleges have to notify the actual number of seats under Sports Quota (supernumerary) and requirement of sportspersons in different Sports/Games along with the respective position / event on their College Website and Notice Board well in advance. The same would be notified on the University of Delhi Website.
