CS Foundation Study Material:
CS Syllabus | CS Foundation New Syllabus Study Material :- A company secretary is a senior position in a private sector company or public sector organisation, normally in the form of a managerial position or above. In large American and Canadian publicly listed corporations, a company secretary is typically named a corporate secretary or secretary.

CS Foundation practice manual : The company secretary is responsible for the efficient administration of a company, particularly with regard to ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and for ensuring that decisions of the board of directors are implemented.The student who would like to join the Course after 10+2 has to undergo three stages to pursue the Company Secretaries Course i.e.
- Foundation Programme
- Executive Programme
- Professional Programme
In addition, the student has to undergo Practical Training for about 15 months which a student may opt to start after passing the Executive Programme.

Course Structure
CS Syllabus | CS Foundation New Syllabus Study Material : The CS course at the Foundation level (ICSI: Foundation Examination) consists of only theoretical examinations. There are 8 subjects arranged into 5 papers of 100 marks each.
To pass a student has to obtain a minimum of 40% in each paper and an aggregate of 50% in all the papers together, failing which the student has to reappear in all the papers again.
CS Foundation practice manual : There are certain exemptions in cases where the student has failed the examination but has obtained high marks in one or more papers.
A student has to get through these to be eligible to go for the next level i.e. INTERMEDIATE.

Financial Accounting [100 marks] - Paper 4:
Elements of Business Laws and Management [100 marks]- Part A: Elements of Business Laws (50 Marks)

- Paper 5: Information Systems and Quantitative Techniques [100 marks]
- Part A: Information Systems (50 Marks)
- Part B: Quantitative Techniques (50 Marks)
