company secretary is a senior position in a private sector company or public sector organisation, normally in the form of a managerial position or above. In large American and Canadian publicly listed corporations, a company secretary is typically named a corporate secretary or secretary.

The company secretary is responsible for the efficient administration of a company, particularly with regard to ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and for ensuring that decisions of the board of directors are implemented.

Despite the name, the role is not clerical or secretarial. The company secretary ensures that an organisation complies with relevant legislation and regulation, and keeps board members informed of their legal responsibilities. Company secretaries are the company’s named representative on legal documents, and it is their responsibility to ensure that the company and its directors operate within the law. It is also their responsibility to register and communicate with shareholders, to ensure that dividends are paid and to maintain company records, such as lists of directors and shareholders, and annual accounts.

In many countries, private companies have traditionally been required by law to appoint one person as a company secretary, and this person will also usually be a senior board member.

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS (DIRECT RECRUITMENT)

QUALIFICATION

A degree in Commerce & Final pass of the CS/CA/CWA (CMA) exam inations  OR   post graduation degree in Commerce with 50% marks.  Candidates possessing LLB or additional qualification(s) will be given preference .

EXPERIENCE

At least 15 years experience in a supervisory position in reputed Firms/Academic or Professional Institutes/ Industry

(Note: Training experience forming a part of the curriculum of any Degree / Diploma  will not  be counted towards the total experience)

MAXIMUM AGE (as on 01.02.2014)              45 years

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS (DEPUTATION)

(1)     Officers of the Central Govt./State Govt./UT/Autonomous Organisation/ PSUs holding analogous post on regular basis in their service / department.

OR

(2)     With atleast 5 years of regular service in PB-4, Rs. 37400-67000 + Grade Pay Rs.8700/- or equivalent with relevant experience in dealing with Finance and Accounts matters.

MAXIMUM AGE (as on 01.02.2014)              45 years

(2) DIRECTOR (IT)

Mode of Recruitment : Direct Recruitment / Deputation

No. of posts : 1 

Pay Band (PB-4) : Rs 37400-67000 + Grade Pay Rs 10000/-   (Gross Salary per annum – Rs. 14.7 lakh approx.)

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS (DIRECT RECRUITMENT)

QUALIFICATION

MCA or B.Tech (Computer Science/IT/Electronics) with 1st or 2nd Division from recognized / reputed University

EXPERIENCE

Minimum 12 Years of experience in the respective field out of which 7 years experience as Project Leader.

(Note: Training experience forming a part of the curriculum of any Degree / Diploma  will not  be counted towards the total experience)

MAXIMUM AGE (as on 01.02.2014)              45 years

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS (DEPUTATION)

(1)     Officers of the Central Govt./State Govt./UT/Autonomous Organisation/ PSUs holding analogous post on regular basis in their service / department

OR

(2)With atleast 5 years of regular service in PB-4, Rs. 37400-67000 + Grade Pay Rs.8700/- or equivalent with relevant experience in IT field.

ACS  “OR “ PG degree in Economics / Commerce / Management / Law

Should have 10 years office experience of which 5 years in a Sr. Executive  position in Co-ordination & Administrative functions  in Industry / Academic Institutions / Professional bodies / Associations of similar nature & with proven leadership qualities .
