Complete details of Mcom admission details of 2016-17:-Masters of Commerce is a Post- graduate Master’s degree which focuses on commerce, accounting, management and economics related subjects. It is 2 year course offered by various colleges and universities. The course mainly includes thesis based component and there may be some research based elements included.The admission is generally through a common entrance test conducted by various universities accordingly. - English shall be the medium of instruction and examination.
- Examinations shall be conducted at the end of each Semester as per the Academic Calendar notified by the University of Delhi
- The system of evaluation shall be as follows:
- Each paper will carry 100 marks, of which 30 marks shall be reserved for internal assessment based on a combination of tutorials, classroom participation, project work, seminar, term papers, tests, and attendance. The weightage given to each of these components in a combination shall be decided and announced at the beginning of the semester by the Department in consultation with the teachers. The system so decided will be communicated by the Department to respective colleges.
- The remaining 70 marks in each paper shall be awarded on the basis of a written examination at the end of each semester. The duration of written exanimation for each paper shall be three hours.
- Examinations for courses shall be conducted only in the respective odd and even Semesters as per the Scheme of Examinations. Regular as well as ex-students shall be permitted to appear/reappear/improve in courses of Odd Semesters only at the end of Odd Semester and courses of Even Semesters only at the end of Even Semesters.

Mcom admission details :-Instructions for Students seeking Admissions through Entrance Test to M. Com.
1. An Entrance Examiantion for M.Com. will be conducted at the School (Main) Building, 5, Cavalry Lane, Delhi University, Delhi-7.
2. Successful candidate in this examination will be eligible for admission at the School of Open Learning.
3. Foreign students who are receipients of Government of India Scholarship/sponsorship by any agency of Government of India will be exempted from the Entrance Examination.
4. All candidates will have to pay an Entrance Examination fee (non-refundable) Rs. 250/- for General Candidate and Rs.100/- for SC/ST Candidates at the time of registration. Candidates seeking admission to the School of Open Learning through the Entrance Examination will have to pay this fee through Cash/Bank Draft in favour of the Executive Director, School of Open Learning, University of Delhi.
5. Registration will be done in Room No. 10 at SOL. Last date of registration is 10th June, 2011.
6. Total Seats are 770 including OBC reservation.
Note: The admission of all applicants will be provisional until the approval is accorded by the University of Delhi.
Note: Students who wish to seek admission to an undergraduate course, where a particular subject or a group of subjects is required for admission, such students must have passed in the subject/subjects concerned separately for purpose of admission to such course.
