Christ University Bcom Admit Card : Christ University was born out of the educational vision of St Kuriakose Elias Chavara, an educationalist and social reformer of the nineteenth century in South India. He founded the first Catholic indigenous congregation, Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), in 1831 which administers Christ University. Established in 1969 as Christ College, it undertook path breaking initiatives in Indian higher education with the introduction of innovative and modern curricula, insistence on academic discipline, imparting of Holistic Education and adoption of global higher education practices with the support of creative and dedicated staff. The University Grants Commission (UGC) of India conferred Autonomy to Christ College in 2004 and identified it as an Institution with Potential for Excellence in 2006. In 2008 under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, the Ministry of Human Resource Development of the Government of India, declared the institution a Deemed to be University, in the name and style of Christ University. One of the first institutions in India to be accredited in 1998 by the NAAC, and subsequently in 2004 and 2016, Christ University has the top grade ‘A’ in the 4-point scale.

Christ University Bcom Admit Card : Christ University introduced the BCom (Hons) programme to its basket of contemporary and progressive programmes from June 2010. This programme caters to commerce aspirants who desire to build their professional competence on a higher plateau with specialized knowledge in the field of Business and Commerce. The BCom (Hons) programme of Christ University is a three year degree programme divided into six semesters. The programme includes internship, project, viva and inter-disciplinary certificate courses. The curriculum is developed duly considering the desired level of knowledge exposure in the context of ever changing environment in global business.

Christ University Bcom Admit Card : How to Apply for Christ University entrance exam-B.Com(Hons.) 2017
Candidates must send the following in an A4 size envelope:
- One copy of the application processing fee online payment acknowledgment slip (Mandatory).
- 2 recent passport size (photo size of 35mm x 45 mm) and 2 stamp size photographs wearing a formal dress with white background – Standard Indian Passport Format. Write your name and application number behind the photographs.
- One copy of the original filled-in printed application form duly signed by the parent/guardian and the candidate (Mandatory).
- A copy of Statement of marks of Class 10 and Class 11/12 (Mandatory).
- A copy of Transfer Certificate from last qualified Institution (If available).
- A copy of Migration Certificate for all candidates except for Karnataka State Board (If available).
- A copy of Passport and Visa Page if the candidate is from Outside India (Mandatory).

Christ University entrance exam-B.Com(Hons.) 2017 Important Instructions
- The selection process E-Admit card will be generated 5 days prior to the scheduled selection process date.
- Candidates must report for the above selection process at least 30 minutes prior to the allotted time as stipulated in the selection process admit card.
- Those candidates not reaching the venue at the allotted time will not be permitted to take part in the selection process.
- The candidates are requested to start early to avoid traffic congestions.
- Request for change in selection process dates, time and center will not be entertained.
- Candidates have to access their selection process admit card from the link “Application Status” from the University website and print the same.
- Please note that the preferred date for selection process will be allotted, subject to availability of slots.
- Candidates failing to appear for the selection process at the stipulated date and time will be considered as “Not Selected”.

1) Why do I need a unique ID?
The ID will enable the candidate to apply for more than one programme if necessary.
2) When I try to apply I always get the message ‘session expired’?
Please ensure that you are using a stand – alone system and not your smart phone/android. Also use Mozilla as your browser.
3) I am writing the Boards this summer, but the application states that I must enter class XII results. How can I apply?
- The application states that you may enter class XI marks which is conducted by your school/college and use your school roll number for ‘previous exam registration number’
- My University/Board provides only grades/CGPA
- All grades/CGPA must be converted into an equivalent score out of 100 without the use of decimals. The CBSE grade pint has to be converted into percentage by using the approved CBSE grade conversion formula.
4) When will applications open for the academic year?
Applications open for B.Com(Hons) Session in December, all UG programmes each year.
5) Where will I find all relevant information pertaining to admissions?
Admission details such as programmes offered, application guidelines, admission process, eligibility, selection process, fee structure, important dates, application forms, syllabus, etc. are available under Related Links when on the programme of your choice or under the Admissions link on official website of Christ University.
6) How will I know if my application has reached the Office as I have to make travel arrangements?
All applications will be verified in the office against the photocopies submitted. Only after the verification is completed, the status of the application will be updated to ‘received’. This must be checked on online application status on the website Christ University. The official admit card to participate in the selection process will be uploaded only 5 days before the selection process. All travel arrangements must be made according to the date opted while filling the application/important date’s section provided for the programme on our website.
7) I want to apply for B.Com(Hons) ?
Applications are available online & Direct Mode in the Office of Admissions. Candidates may enter the data prior to the declaration of results and ‘save’ the information.
8) How do I know when my selection process is scheduled?
For all programmes that do not have an entrance test, the candidate will opt for the date from the list of offered dates while filling the application.
9) Can I apply for more than one programme in the same application?
It is not possible to apply for more than one programme in the same application form. However, for certain programmes while filling the application 2nd and 3rd preference option will be available. The candidate may enter the preferences from the options available in the drop down. The candidate cannot manually enter her/his preferences on the application printout.
10) I always receive the message of ‘invalid phone number’ while filling the application.
It is advised not to use + while entering the country code for any number.
11) I paid the money for the application process but my status is showing as incomplete.
After payment if you do not receive the 8 digit application number, then your application process is incomplete and will go in for refund process. The refund will take about 15 days and must be checked with your bank.
