CA Final Registration Form :

On clearing both the groups of IPCC Exams, a student has to enroll himself for CA Final by submitting the CA Final Registration Form. Out of all the Students, who appear for CA IPCC Level of the Chartered Accountancy Course conducted by ICAI, only a small percentage of them are to clear both the groups of CA IPCC Level in one go.

Exam Fee for Nov 2017

The Fee payable is as follows

CA Final Eligibility criteria :

i) you must have passed the Intermediate or PE-II or PCE or IPCE examination; and
ii) you must have obtained the Final Registration Number from Board of Studies; and
iii) you must have completed prescribed period of 3 years or 3 ½ years of article training as on the date of filling the form

OR

you must be due to complete the prescribed period of 3 year or 3 ½ years article training including excess leave, if any, on or before 31st October, 2011

OR

you must be in service as on 1st November, 2011 and serving the last twelve months of article training including excess leave, if any, and due to complete 3 years on or before 31st October, 2012.(for PEII students and PEII students converted to IPCC)     

OR

you must be in service as on 1st November, 2011 and serving the last six months of article training including excess leave, if any and due to complete 3 ½ years on or before 30th April, 2012(for PCC students)

OR

you must be in service as on 1st November, 2011 and serving the last six months of article training including excess leave, if any and due to complete 3 years on or before 30th April, 2012 (for intermediate students)

OR

you must be in service as on 1st November, 2011 and serving the last six months of article training including excess leave, if any, and due to complete 3 ½  years article ship on or before 30th April, 2012 (for students of PCC or converted from  PCC to IPCC)

CA Final Registration Procedure

The CA Final Registration is not automatic and every student who is interested in undergoing this level has to enroll himself for the same. Registration can be applied for by submitting the CA Final Registration Form along with the prescribed fee and the supporting documents.

A Registration Fees of Rs. 10,000 is to be paid along with the Registration Form. However, if the student has not paid the Registration Fees for Articleship, he also has to pay a one-time Articleship Registration Fees of Rs. 2,000 along with the Registration Form.

The Fee shall be payable by pay of a Demand Draft/Pay Order made in favour of “The Secretary, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India” payable at New Delhi/Mumbai/Chennai/Kolkata/Kanpur in accordance with the registered address of the Student.

The Student shall also submit the following documents at the time of submission of the Registration Form:-

  1. Copy of IPCC Marksheet attested by a Chartered Accountant
  2. Demand Draft/Pay Order towards CA Final Registration Fees

Last Date for Submission of CA Final Registration Form

The ca final registration form for Nov 2017 Attempt would be available from 4th August 2017 and the last date for submitting the exam forms is 25th August 2017. Student desirous of submitting the exam form online shall logon to icaiexam.icai.org & follow the procedure for submitting CA Examination Forms online is detailed below.

CA Final Exam Form Online Procedure

STEP 1: CREATE YOUR ACCOUNT

ca final registration form – For submitting the CA Final Exam Form Online, the 1st step is to register a new account. Creating new account is mandatory for everyone and the users who had created login account for any previous exams also have to create a new account. Your new account will be authenticated with your Student Registration number, your date of birth, your email-id and mobile number.

It is advisable to double check your email-id provided by you in the above step, since the login-id and password created by you for filling up the application form would be sent to this email address and mobile only.

Please Note: In Case your Name is not displayed on entering the registration number and Date of Birth, you can still create the login as a Provisional Registration by providing correct particulars. You must submit the copy of registration letter and other relevant documents with your application form in case your login is created as Provisional Candidate.

STEP 2: LOGIN AND PAY FEES ONLINE

ca final registration form – After having successfully created your account, login with your username and the password sent to you by email.  Fill up the details in the CA Final/ IPCC Online Exam Form carefully, confirm the particulars displayed in the Confirmation Page and Pay the Fees Online using Master / Visa Credit or Debit card.

STEP 3: Take the Print Out of the PDF Form

ca final registration form – After having paid the CA Final Exam Fees, you are requested to take the print out on A4 sheet with Portrait Orientation. You are requested not to print on both sides of the paper.  While taking the print, the applicant shall ensure that the Control Number, Payment Particulars and the Bar Codes are appearing correctly in the PDF before taking the Print Out

STEP 4: Affix Photograph and Signature

ca final registration form – The applicant shall affix his recent passport size photograph in the space provided in the Print Out of the online submitted Exam Form. The applicant shall also sign the form using Black Ink Pen and get the form attested by a CA/Parents.

STEP 5: Send the printout to ICAI

ca final registration form – After having affixed your photograph and having signed the Examination Form, Send the printout of the form by SpeedPost/Registered Post without folding and Super scribing the envelope – “Online Exam Form for CA Final/IPCC May 2016” (as the case may be).

The CA Final Exam Form online submitted shall be sent to Additional Secretary (Exams), The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, ICAI Bhawan, Indraprastha Marg, New Delhi – 110002.

The Admit Cards for CA Final Exams are usually issued by ICAI, 21 days before the start of the Examinations. The Admit Cards are sent to the Address mentioned by the Candidates and can also be downloaded online.

Error in submission of CA Final Exam Form

ca final registration form – ICAI has ensured that the whole process for online submission of Exam Form Nov 2017 is error-free. However, there may still be minute errors because of slow internet connection, or because of the bank through which the payment is being made or constant refreshing by the student or because of any other error.

In case you face any such problem and are unable to pay the fees online or the fees has been paid online and you have not received the PDF or for any other reason, you should pay the fees online again and the PDF would be generated successfully. You are also required to sent an email to ICAI stating that you’ve again paid the exam fees and the exam fees paid earlier would be refunded. The Exam Fees paid in excess would be automatically refunded on completion of the whole process of the online exam form submission.

Before making the payment again, students are requested to check the following:-

  1. Check Payment Status of  Nov 2017 Exam Form
  2. PDF not generated

ICAI Correction Window for CA exam Form

At the time of submission of Exam Form, a student should exercise reasonable care and ensure that all details have been correctly mentioned. However, in case there is any error in furnishing the details and the same is realised by the CA Student after furnishing the Exam Form, this error can be rectified after submission of the Exam Form as well.

From May 15 Exam onwards, ICAI would be opening a Correction Window wherein Students would be able to change the Medium/Group/Centre opted for.

This Window would be available online and all details as mentioned by the candidates would be mentioned online. The student can view all details as submitted by him and also request for change of particulars.

This window would be opened in 2 stages. The 1st window would be opened 1 week after the submission of Exam Form and would be opened for a week. Any changes requested in this period would be done without any charges.

The 2nd window would be opened from 12th April/ 12th Oct onwards for May/Nov Exams. A fee of Rs. 1,000 would be charged for opting for any changes during this period.

Procedure for submitting the CA Exam Form Physically

The option of submitting the Exam Form for May 2017 Attempt is also available. In case the Student opts for Physical submission of Exam Form, he would first be required to purchase the Exam Form on Payment of Rs. 1000 from the authorised centres of ICAI. This Cost of Rs 1000 for purchasing the Exam Form is not liable to be paid in case the student submits the Form online

Students submitting the Exam Form physically would be required to make the payment by Demand Draft of any Scheduled Bank. the Demand Draft shall be drawn in favor of ” The Secretary, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India” payable at New Delhi.

IPCC and ca final registration form filled physically shall be submitted so as to reach the Additional Secretary (Examinations) New Delhi before the Due Dates. Exam Forms would also be received by hand delivery at the following branches of ICAI – Mumbai, Kolkatta, Chennai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Jaipur and Pune.

CA Final Admit Card 

ca final registration form| CA Final Admit Card are expected to be issued by ICAI 21 days before the Exams. The Admit Card for CA Final Exams have been released and can be downloaded online from the following website of ICAI after they are being issued:-

www.icai.nic.in

For the purpose of online downloading of CA Final Admit Card, the students would be required to enter the following details

  1. Student Registration No. or the Bar Code No. on the Exam Form
  2. Personal Identification No. as mentioned by the student in the Exam Form
  3. On furnishing the details on the above mentioned website, the CA Final Admit card would be visible to the Candidate. The Candidate shall ensure that their Name, Registration No., Centre and Group opted for have been correctly mentioned in the CA Final Hall Ticket.

Students are requested to note that w.e.f. May 2014 Exams, ICAI has discontinued sending of physical admit cards by post. Physical Admit Cards by post would only be sent to the candidates who had submitted the exam forms physically. Those students who had submitted the exam form online would not be sent the physical copy of the admit cards and such candidates would be required to download the ca final admit card and ipcc admit card online.

Please Note: Based on the recommendation of the examination committee, ICAI has decided to allow 15 minutes time for reading the question paper to CA Inter (IPCC) and CA Final Students. However, Students wont be allowed to write any answers during this reading time. Refer: ICAI Official Announcement

Change in Exam Centre/ Group/ Medium after issuance of CA Final Admit Card

If a CA Student intends to change the Exam Centre/ Group/ Medium after the issuance of the CA Final Admit Card, he may do so by filing an application online through the ICAI Correction Window. The ICAI Correction Window will open on 12th April 2016 for students intending to appear for May 2016 Exams and will close 1 week before the exams.

The Online Correction Window for request for change in particulars for appearing in CA Final Exam would be made available by ICAI from 12th April 2016 onwards on http://icaiexam.icai.org

Their is a fixed fees of Rs. 1000 for the same and this fees is irrespective of the no. of particulars to be changed. The fees for the same can be paid online through Debit/ Credit Card.

Students applying for change of particulars after issuance of the Admit Cards wont be issued a fresh admit. If their request for change of particulars is approved by ICAI, an approval letter would be sent to them which would be reflected in the ICAI Correction Window. Such candidates would be required to take a print out of the approval letter along with the admit cards.

FAQ’s on CA Final Admit Card

Q: I have a valid exemption but the admit card does not mention about my exemption. Will I get a exemption?

A: The Exemptions granted are not reflected in the admit card and are only reflected in the marksheet. The ‘#’ symbol printed in your previous marksheet indicate that you’ve been granted an exemption in that paper which will be valid for the next 3 exams. The Result of that group is also shown as F-Ex (Failed with Exemption)

Alphabet “E” printed against the marks of a paper indicate that marks of that paper have been brought forward from an exemption granted in that paper in an earlier attempt.

If no such ‘#’ symbol is printed against the marks of that paper, even though the marks obtained in that paper may be more than 60, then that indicates that no exemption has been granted in that paper. Refer this link for more on availing Exemptions in CA Exams.

Q: My photograph and/or signature are not there on the Admit Card. Is it valid?

A: Yes, your Admit Card is valid. However, in such cases where your photograph is not there on the admit card, you should carry a photo identity card issued by the Govt along with the Admit Card. If you don’t carry the photo identity card with the Admit Card, you would not be allowed entry in the examination hall.

Else, you may get your photograph and signature on the Admit Card attested by a Chartered Accountant or a gazetted officer on the official letterhead indicating inter-alia the following:

  1. Name
  2. Registration No
  3. Exam
  4. Month and Year of Exam
  5. Roll No
  6. Medium
  7. Group
  8. Centre
  9. Postal Address

and carry the same to the Examination Centre as proof of identity along with your Hall Ticket.
