About CA Final Exam Pattern – May 2021 exam
CA Final Course is final level for CA Exam. ICAI conducts CA Final exam twice in a year i.e May and November.
Final Course registration is valid for 5 years and can be re validated any number of times for further 5 years period by paying re validation fee of Rs.400/- or as decided by the Council from time to time.
The old syllabus has 8 papers in CA Final .Group 1 and Group 2 includes 4 subjects each.

What is the marking Scheme as per ICAI and passing criteria as per the CA Final Exam Pattern 2021?
The marking scheme and passing criteria of CA final exam as per the exam pattern of ICAI is given below:
- As per the exam pattern of CA final 2021, every paper of the exam will be of 100 marks.
- The applicants will have to score a minimum forty percent marks in each subject to clear the group.
- There will be no negative marking as per the pattern of CA final exam 2020.
- In aggregate the minimum required marks are fifty percent as per the pattern of CA final exam.
- The applicants who will score sixty percent marks or more in any paper will be able to claim the exemption in the CA final exam as per the provided pattern.
CA Final Exam Pattern 2021: Medium and mode of Examination
The exam of CA final 2020 will be conducted in offline i.e. pen paper mode in all the exam centres as per the pattern of CA final exam 2021. The applicants will have the option to give the exam of CA final 2021 in both English and Hindi languages.
CA Final Exam Pattern 2021: Articleship
To appear in the exam of CA final 20201the applicants will have to complete the article ship as per the guidelines of ICAI. The duration of the CA final 2021 articleship is of three years as per the pattern of CA final exam 2021. But the institute allows the registered applicants to appear in the exam after completing the duration of 2.5 years.
CA Final Exam Pattern 2021: Duration of the exam
The applicants will be provided the duration of three hours for each paper of CA final 2021 as per the exam pattern. In addition to those three hours, the institute will also provide the duration of fifteen minutes to all the applicants to read the question paper of CA final exam 2020.
