ICAI has now extended the facility of submitting CA Final & IPCC Exam Form Online. Moreover, to facilitate the use of submission of forms online, ICAI has exempted students submitting the form online from paying the cost of the exam form which is Rs. 1000.CA Final Application Form details.

The facility of physical submission of CA Final & IPCC Exam Form is also available and students desirous of submitting the IPCC and CA Final Exam form manually can purchase the forms from ICAI on payment of Rs. 1000.

The Exam Forms for nov 2017 Attempt would be available from March 2017 and the last date for submitting the exam forms is March 2017. Student desirous of submitting the exam form & follow the procedure for submitting CA Examination Forms online is detailed below.

CA Final candidates and Direct Entry candidates of Intermediate (IPC), through graduate/post graduate route are required to scan and upload their Certificate of Service, duly signed by their Principal/s on the above-mentioned portal.

Unless the Certificate of Service is uploaded, candidates will not be able to complete submission of the examination form on-line.

“So, Certificate of Service is not applicable to regular IPCC students.”

Is Certificate of Service required for Students who have already completed their Articleship?

Students who have already completed their Articleship training can get their Certificate of Service signed by their Principal or any other Practicing Chartered Accountant.

Students undergoing last 6 Months of  Articleship training are only required to submit the Certificate of Service duly attested by their Principal only.

CA Final Application Form-Procedure for submitting IPCC/CA Final Exam Form Online

STEP 1: CREATE YOUR ACCOUNT

For submitting the CA Final/IPCC Exam Form Online, the 1st step is to register a new account. Creating new account is mandatory for everyone and the users who had created login account for any previous exams also have to create a new account. Your new account will be authenticated with your Student Registration number, your date of birth, your email-id and mobile number.

It is advisable to double check your email-id provided by you in the above step, since the login-id and password created by you for filling up the application form would be sent to this email address and mobile only.

Please Note: In Case your Name is not displayed on entering the registration number and Date of Birth, you can still create the login as a Provisional Registration by providing correct particulars. You must submit the copy of registration letter and other relevant documents with your application form in case your login is created as Provisional Candidate.

STEP 2: LOGIN AND PAY FEES ONLINE

After having successfully created your account, login with your username and the password sent to you by email.  Fill up the details in the CA Final/ IPCC Online Exam Form carefully, confirm the particulars displayed in the Confirmation Page and Pay the Fees Online using Master / Visa Credit or Debit card.

The Fee payable is as follows:

Examination Group Fees
CA Final Both Groups Rs. 2700
Single Group Rs. 1500
CA IPCC Both Groups Rs. 1900
Single Group Rs. 1200

The Last Date for Submission of CA Final/ IPCC Exam Form Online is march 2017. However, in case a candidate is unable to submit the CA Final/IPCC Exam Form Online till march 2017, he shall submit the same by feb with a late payment fee of Rs. 600.

STEP 3: Take the Print Out of the PDF Form

After having paid the CA Final/IPCC Exam Fees, you are requested to take the print out on A4 sheet with Portrait Orientation. You are requested not to print on both sides of the paper.  While taking the print, the applicant shall ensure that the Control Number, Payment Particulars and the Bar Codes are appearing correctly in the PDF before taking the Print Out.

STEP 4: AFFIX PHOTOGRAPH AND SIGNATURE

The applicant shall affix his recent passport size photograph in the space provided in the Print Out of the online submitted Exam Form. The applicant shall also sign the form using Black Ink Pen and get the form attested by a CA/Parents.

STEP 5: SEND THE PRINT OUTS TO ICAI

After having affixed your photograph and having signed the Examination Form, Send the printout of the form by SpeedPost/Registered Post without folding and Super scribing the envelope – “Online Exam Form for CA Final/IPCC May 2017” (as the case may be).

The CA Final/IPCC Exam Form online submitted shall be sent to Additional Secretary (Exams), The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, ICAI Bhawan, Indraprastha Marg, New Delhi – 110002.

The Admit Cards for CA IPCC/ CA Final Exams are usually issued by ICAI, 21 days before the start of the Examinations. The Admit Cards are sent to the Address mentioned by the Candidates and can also be downloaded online.

CA Final Application Form-ICAI CORRECTION WINDOW FOR CA EXAM FORM

At the time of submission of Exam Form, a student should exercise reasonable care and ensure that all details have been correctly mentioned. However, in case there is any error in furnishing the details and the same is realised by the CA Student after furnishing the Exam Form, this error can be rectified after submission of the Exam Form as well.

From May 15 Exam onwards, ICAI would be opening a Correction Window wherein Students would be able to change the Medium/Group/Centre opted for.

This Window would be available online and all details as mentioned by the candidates would be mentioned online. The student can view all details as submitted by him and also request for change of particulars.

This window would be opened in 2 stages. The 1st window would be opened 1 week after the submission of Exam Form and would be opened for a week. Any changes requested in this period would be done without any charges.

The 2nd window would be opened from 12th April/ 12th Oct onwards for May/Nov Exams. A fee of Rs. 1,000 would be charged for opting for any changes during this period.

Error in submission of IPCC/ CA Final Exam Form

ICAI has ensured that the whole process for online submission of Exam Form May 2017” is error-free. However, there may still be minute errors because of slow internet connection, or because of the bank through which the payment is being made or constant refreshing by the student or because of any other error.

In case you face any such problem and are unable to pay the fees online or the fees has been paid online and you have not received the PDF or for any other reason, you should pay the fees online again and the PDF would be generated successfully. You are also required to sent an email to ICAI stating that you’ve again paid the exam fees and the exam fees paid earlier would be refunded. The Exam Fees paid in excess would be automatically refunded on completion of the whole process of the online exam form submission.

Revised Scheme of Education and Training for CA Course, FAQs and Implementation Schedule

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has formulated the Revised Scheme of Education and Training in lines with International Education Standards issued by International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) after considering the inputs from various stakeholders. The Revised Scheme of Education and Training for CA course will come into effect from 1st July, 2017. LATEST UPDATES ON CA SYLLABUS FOR NOV 2017

ICAI released their revised scheme for CA Course for future. They have made the change in all the three levels (Foundation, Inter and Final) compared to previous ones.

ICAI has given a notification about CA New Scheme (CA Course 2017) of Education and Training. ICAI thought that It’s time for changing entire CA Course pattern. So that they announced New CA Course 2016 – a New scheme. Here we given key features of New CA Course 2017 – a New scheme.

Changes in CPT – CPT New Syllabus From 2017

The present entrance exam CPT (Common Proficiency Test) has changed to “Foundation Exam”

CPT MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) based exam has changed to Foundation descriptive exam. Now you can register for CPT before 6 months. In new scheme you should register before 9 months.

Adequate time gap is given so that students get sufficient time to study since the Foundation Course has been made descriptive. Also, there is an addition of full paper.

Foundation Examination will be partly descriptive in nature.

At present there are 4 subjects in CPT syllabus. In new scheme there are 6 subjects.

ICAI has added two additional papers in Foundation exam (CPT). They are 1. General English for 50 Marks. 2. Business communication for 50 Marks.

Foundation Course: Number of Papers — 4

  • Paper 1 : Fundamentals of Accounting (100 marks)
  • Paper 2 : Quantitative Aptitude (100marks)
  • Paper 3A : Mercantile Law (60 marks)
  • Paper 3B : General Economics (40 marks)
  • Paper 4A : General English (50 marks)
  • Paper 4B : Business Communication (50 marks)

Two papers will be MCQ based papers.

Changes in CA Final – Final Syllabus / Scheme From 2017 (No longer applicable – Revised scheme has been published by ICAI)

ICAI has announced some changes in CA Final syllabus / scheme also. These changes in CA Final syllabus / scheme applicable from 2016. In new scheme also there are 8 papers for CA Final exam.

The subject Information Systems Control and Audit (1SCA) has removed in CA Final syllabus.

International Taxation for 40 marks has been added in CA Final syllabus 2016 view of increasing importance of the subject in the present globalized world.

A new subject ‘Financial Services and Capital Market’ has been included to make CA more competitive in the finance related areas.

The nomenclature Corporate Laws and other Economic Laws has been kept to make the name more representative of the subject.

ICAI has announced some changes in CA IPCC syllabus also. Here we are providing Changes from 2016 in CA IPCC Syllabus / Scheme.

Present CA IPCC exam has 7 papers. In new scheme there are 8 papers for IPCC exam.

Changes in CA IPCC Cost accounting and Financial Management

Now costing and Fm exam for 100 Marks. But in new scheme

  • Costing exam for 100 marks (Group – 1)
  • Financial Management exam for 100 marks (Group – 2)

Changes in CA IPCC Law Paper

Communication of Law paper 20 Marks has removed from CA IPCC Law paper.

Business Law of 30 Marks removed from CA IPCC.

Marks weightage of Company Act has increased to 60 marks

Other laws is for 20 marks and Ethics for 20 marks

Changes in CA IPCC Tax exam. Tax paper has divided into 2 parts

  • Direct Tax – 100 Marks (Group – 1)
  • Indirect Tax – 100 Marks (Group – 2)

Information Technology and Strategic Management Paper removed from CA IPCC Group – 2 completely.

Step 6 : Login in your Account by using your Registration Number and Password and your Dashboard is appeared (Note – If you are first time user then please register on ICAI Portal and then you will get password at your mail address)

Procedure for submitting the CA Exam Form Physically

The option of submitting the Exam Form for Nov 2016 Attempt is also available. In case the Student opts for Physical submission of Exam Form, he would first be required to purchase the Exam Form on Payment of Rs. 1000 from the authorised centres of ICAI. This Cost of Rs 1000 for purchasing the Exam Form is not liable to be paid in case the student submits the Form online

Students submitting the Exam Form physically would be required to make the payment by Demand Draft of any Scheduled Bank. the Demand Draft shall be drawn in favor of ” The Secretary, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India” payable at New Delhi.

IPCC and CA Final Exam Forms filled physically shall be submitted so as to reach the Additional Secretary (Examinations) New Delhi before the Due Dates. Exam Forms would also be received by hand delivery at the following branches of ICAI – Mumbai, Kolkatta, Chennai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Jaipur and Pune.

CA Final Results for May Attempt are usually announced in the last week of July and IPCC Results are usually announced in the first week of August.

Q1. What are the documents required in ca final registration procedure for new syllabus?

ca final application : CA Final registration procedure under new syllabus documents required are as follow:

  1. i) Demand Draft or Pay Order towards CA Final registration fee in favour.
  2. ii) In case of Intermediate (IPC)/ IPCC/ PCC students, Xerox copy/ copies of IIPCE/IPCE/PCE downloaded marks sheet, duly attested by a Chartered Accountant.

CA Institute has clarified that you may proceed for Final course registration with attested copy of downloaded marks statement. Therefore, you should not wait for physical copy of marks statement to be received from Examination department of ICAI.

However, you have to submit the attested copy of Original marks statement received from CA Institute to the concerned Regional Office without fail for procedural compliance.

iii) If you are CA PE- II student, you have to enclose duly attested copy/ copies of PE-II pass (in its entirety) marks statement/s alongwith the copy of CCT/ITT completion certificate duly attested by the Principal i.e. the CA under whom articled training being undergone.

You need to submit the above mentioned documents within the limit of duration period.
