First thing you wanted to do is aim for a rank rather than just clearing the CPT. Have a mind set that you can do that.Still 78 more days you have for your exam. Just 13 days must took for the revision, as its must.So, you have got 15 days for each subject and 20 days for Accounts. Here is schedule made by us, you can even arrange it by yourself.

Step 1: 15 days, 3-6 hours each day. You must start with Law since it is most scoring subject.In law Indian contract act is very important and most weightage topic.You must read very well and note down every wordings in a special note pad. “6 DAYS ARE RESERVED For Indian Contract Act”. Spend 1 hour to revise what did you learned yesterday.Next 5 days for sale of goods act. Read well, it do have some confusing terms, read as much as u can and take your own time.Next 4 days, its for Indian Partnership Act. Its an easy chapter, you can finish it as soon as possible and can revise once more .So 15 days over guys and you have finished one subject completely without any mug ups.

step 2: 15 days, 3-5 hours each day. Next start Economics, it can be divided into Macro and Micro economics.

Start with Micro economics, Maximum 8 days.2 days for Theory of Demand and Supply.2 days for Theory of production and Cost.4 days for Price determination in Markets (important chapter).

Next start with  Macro Economics,Maximum 7 days. As your wish you can divide chapters, but you must revise it perfectly and note down every current facts in your Note pad.Now you have completed 2 scoring subjects in just 30 days with perfect planning.

Step 3: 15 Days, 6-8 hours each day. Go for Quantitative Aptitude.I know, most of them are afraid of this subject. Especially Commerce students. So, I am here giving some chapters which is easy and scoring ones.


  • Simple and Compound Interest Including Annuity.
  • Permutations and combinations.
  • AP and GP.
  • Basics of Differential and Integration.

Just spend some hours in coaching classes for maths and work out the problems.

Statistics- Study well, you can expect about 20-25 marks from this So work out problems from back of the chapters. Statistics is an easy part to score.

  • Statistical Description of data.
  • Measures of Central tendency.
  • Correlation and Regression.
  • Basics of Probability.
  • Theoritical distributions.

You can finish Q.A. and if you study above chapters perfectly, you can score 30% marks easily.

Step 4: 20 days, 5-6 hours each day.

Accountancy- The most scoring subject for Commerce people and if some work outs are given science students can also do well.1 day to Start off with Introduction chapter, Go with a read once and Read about Concepts and principles and policies.Next 2 days take Accounting Policies. An easy chapter, Read about journal, ledgers, Cash book, Capital and revenue expenditures, Rectification of errors.Day 4, take Bank reconciliation statement chapter. Do as much problems on reconciling Bank bal. and Cash book Bal. Take the whole day and study it properly.5th day, Take Final Accounts, just go through some problems and finish it within one day.6th day, Take Depreciation Accounting. Do sums on different methods. Check past year papers also and focus mostly on sums of methods came till now in examination.7th and 8th day, Do Problems on Inventory and Joint ventures.9th and 10th day, Consignment and Bill of exchange.11-15 days, Do Partnership Accounts (Important Chapter). Do sums on Admission, Retirement and Death. And do on goodwill calculations. Its an easy chapter if you work out more problems from it.16-20 days, Company accounts (Important Chapter). Take your own time and read whole basics and journals. And do all sums from the text and Model Test papers.So finished whole subjects and now there are 13 days.

12 days you must revise as ur division of subjects and on 13th day before exam, keep your mind relaxed and do problems. I am pretty sure, you can score well if you follow this time table. Just aim for a rank and work hard than only you are going to pass any professional exam.
