BCOM Third Semester Subjects – Complete Details
BCOM third semester subjects have six syllabus with detail syllabus information. Bcom third semester have five common subjects those are Corporate Accounting, Business Statistics, Business Regulatory Framework, Corporate Law and Macro Economics. Three optional subjects are their but student can select any one subject. BCOM third semester subject totally eighteen hours classroom teaching period.
a) Corporate Accounting ( Three hours classes );
Unit- I : Share Capital
Unit- II : Debenture
Unit-III : Valuation of Goodwill
Unit- IV : Profit or loss before and after incorporation and Final accounts of companies.
Reference book: Shukla M.C, Grewal T.S and Gupta S.C. Advance Accounts and Gupta R.L & Radha Swami M. Company Account.
Important: The Examiner will set at least THREE numerical and THREE theoretical questions in the question paper.
b) Business Statistics ( Three hours classes );
Unit- I: Introduction of Statistics.
Unit- II : Central Tendency and Partition values.
Unit- III : Moments, Skewness and Kurtosis.
Unit- IV : Analysis of Bivariate data and Concurrent deviation method Regression.
Important: The Examiner will set at least THREE numerical and THREE theoretical questions in the question paper.t.

c) Business Regulatory Framework ( Three hours classes );
Unit- I : Indian Contract Act.
Unit- II : Contingent Contracts.
Unit- III : Contract of Bailment and Pledge.
Unit- IV : Consumer protection Act nineteen eighty six.
Important : The examiner will set two questions from each unit out of which the candidate shall attempt four questions selecting one question from each unit.

d) Corporate Law ( Three hours classes );
Unit- I : Company Meaning and Characteristics.
Unit- II : Formation of Company.
Unit- III : Memorandum of Association.
Unit- IV : Borrowing Powers and Debentures and Charges.
Reference book : Kuchal M.C. Modern Indian Company Law Shri Mahavir Books.
Important : The examiner will set two questions from each unit out of which the candidate shall attempt four questions selecting one question from each unit.
e) Macro Economics ( Three hours classes );
Unit-I : National Income
Unit-II : Consumption function and its determinants and theories of consumption.
Unit-III : Investment multiplier and investment Theory of Accelerator.
Unit-IV : Economic growth and Development.
Important : The examiner will set two questions from each unit out of which the candidate shall attempt four questions selecting one question from each unit.
f) Optional (Student can be select any one from the followings subjects) ( Three hours classes );
i. Fundamental of Insurance: Insurance, Life Insurance, General Insurance and Important Provisions of Moter Insurance, Aircraft Insurance
ii. Human Resource Management: An Introduction to Human Resource Management, Recruitment Selection and Training Recruitment, Wage and Wage Incentives Wages, Industrial Relations and Industrial Unrest Industrial Relations, Participants of Industrial relation and Recruitment of good Industrial relation Programme and Industrial Unrest.
iii. Production Management: Introduction about Production Management, Location and Layout, Production Planning and Control, Quality Control and Plan Maintenance.
