BCOM Notes  : BCOM is one of the  full time undergraduate students at the University of Karnataka  usually take 12  subjects each year for three years. Each subject in the Bachelor of Commerce has a point value, and all students must complete a total of 300 points in order to graduate. This usually means completing 36 subjects in total. In selecting subjects, a Bachelor of Commerce student needs to complete a certain number of points from three broad groups of subjects – compulsory subjects, core or major subjects and breadth subjects.

BCOM Notes  : The Bachelor of Commerce course structure results in a flexible degree that allows students to explore different fields of study in business and economics as well as other complimentary disciplines. As a Bachelor of Commerce student  have the opportunity to make an informed decision on what they would like to study before they  are required to choose a major. Student would usually choose their  major at the beginning of second year. Depending on subject choices,  Student  can complete a double major. But for doing B.Com., you have to be sincere and honest. You should read everything relating to your subjects.

The main objective of  BCOM First Semester Notes is to help students get an insight of their preparedness for the all subjects coming examination. Also to enhance the confidence level of the students adequately  and to leverage the preparation of the students by giving guidance on how to approach the examinations.

He are she  focus of the BCOM First Semester  exam is to check your real understanding of the subject, rather then to check your memory power. Most of the questions in the exams are targeted at checking your conceptual understanding of the subject.

The primary objectives of the BCOM First Semester Notes are :

  • To acquaint students with the accounting concepts, tools and techniques influencing Business process in the organisation.
  • To familiarise the students with regard to structure, organisation roles and working of financial system in India.

2) BCOM Second  Semester | Sem Notes – Year of 2017 Syllabus notes:

BCOM Notes  :  B.Com. graduates are placed at an advantage when it comes to the options that are available to all graduates be it B.A., B.Sc., B.B.M., B.B.A. etc. The numerous options for B.Com. graduates are becoming accountants, auditors, information systems officers, taxation specialists and customer relationship officers

3) BCOM Third Semester | Sem Notes – Year of 2017  Syllabus notes :

BCOM Notes  : The B.Com. Degree Course (Revised Structure) will consist of three Years. The first year annual examination will be held at the end of the first year. The Second Year annual examination will be held at the end of the second year. The Third annual examination shall be held at the end of the third year. There will be practical examination for the F.Y.B.Com. for the subject Financial Accounting.

The main objective of  BCOM Third  Semester Notes :

  • To enable the students to have a comprehensive awareness about the provisions of the Company‟s Act and Corporate Accounts.
  • To understand the concept, process and importance of communication. 2.
  • To develop awareness regarding new trends in business communication. 3.

4)  BCOM Fourth Semester | Sem Notes – Year of 2017  Syllabus notes :

BCOM Notes  : The Bachelor of Commerce degree is designed to provide a student with a wide range of managerial skills while at the same time, builds competence in a particular area of business studies (see below). Most universities therefore, plan the degree such that in addition to their major, students are exposed to general business principles, taking courses in accounting, finance, business management, human resources, statistics, marketing, economics, information systems. Other established business schools have strengthened their programs by requiring business students to also take introductory calculus at the undergraduate level as part of the degree program.

Main Objectives of BCOM Fifth Semester Notes :

6) BCOM Sixth Semester | Sem Notes – Year of 2017  Syllabus notes :

BCOM Notes  :  B.Com. is very good degree to know commerce and business. With doing b.com., you learn basic to advance accounting, management and different business laws which will be helpful to you in your profession or your business. The BCOM is  3 years long course is divided into 6 semesters. Let us analyse each semester and the core subjects that one has to face in each semester. I’m talking about the regular B. Com. program and not any specialisation course. Let us start with the first semester.

BCOM Sixth Semester Notes Main Objectives :

  • To familiarise the students with the principles and practices of financial management.
  • To equip students effectively to acquire skills in reading, writing, comprehension and communication, as also to use electronic media for business communication.
  •  To familiarise the students with the fundamentals of personal selling and the selling process.
  •  To create an understanding towards the cyber crimes and to familiarise the students with the application of cyber laws in general.
  • To expose students to the concept, importance and dynamics of international business and India’s involvement with global business operations.
  • To comprehend the interface between business firms and consumers and the consumer related regulatory and business environment.
