**Add left to Right- 1**

450+265+851+746 =?

Start addition from left.

Add 4+2+8+7= 21

We can reduce the number means 4+2=6 and 8+7=15

Then add 6+15=21

Now add 5+6+5+4=20

We can reduce as 5+5=10 and 6+4=10

Then 10+10=20

Now add 0+5+1+6=12

We can do this as 5+1=6

Then 6+6=12

Now unit digit of answer is 12 means **2** and carry forward 1 to next digit

Next digit is 20

Add carry forward digit means 1

20+1=21

Then new next digit is 21 means **1** and carry forward 2 to next digit

Next digit is 21

Add carry forward digit means 2

21+2=23

Then new next digit is **23**

Our answer is 23 1 2 means **2312.**

Now we have to add digit place not only digit.

400+200+800+700=2100

Now add 10^{th} digit place

50+60+50+40=200

Now add unit digit place

0+5+1+6=12

Add all of them

2100+200+12=2312

Our answer is **2312**

**Group addition:-**

Add a group of number which is in fixed sequence.

**E.g. A** – Add the number 33 to 41 means 33+34+35+36+37+38+39+40+41

**E.g. B** – Add the number 12 to 21 which are divide by 3 means 12+15+18+21

Note:- 1. **This rule is always agree only addition series not subtraction series**.

**Different between the numbers of series must be equal.**

**Step-**

- Find the different between the numbers of the series. Different in e.g. A is 1 and e.g. B is 3.
- Find the total number of elements in the group. Elements in e.g. A are 9 and e.g. B are 4.

We and find number of element easily by this formula-

**(Biggest number – smaller number + different between the numbers of the series) / Different between the numbers of the series**

Biggest number means last number of the series.

Smaller number means first number of the series.

For e.g. A (41-33+1)/1 = 9 and

For e.g. B (21-12+3)/3 = 4

- Now add first number and last number of series means smaller number and biggest number.

For e.g. A 33+41=74 and

For e.g. B 12+21=33

- Multiply the result by the number of elements of group.

For e.g. A 74×9=666 or 74×9 and

For e.g. B 33×4=132 or 33×4

- Divide the result by
**2**.

For e.g. A 666/2=333 or 74×9/2=333 and

For e.g. B 132/2=66 or 33×4/2=66

These are our answer- **333 and 66.**
