**A trust is extinguished-**
According to Section 77 in The Indian Trusts Act, 1882
*A trust is extinguished when :-
(1) when its purpose is completely fulfilled; or
(2) when its purpose becomes unlawful; or
(3) when the fulfillment of its purpose becomes impossible by destruction of the trust-property or otherwise; or
(4) when the trust, being revocable, is expressly revoked.
